People are fed up on all sides in this thing understandably, particularly working parents with primary school children who I think have it worse than most others.
Hopefully the state will restore freedoms soon and let people make their own choices.
But that's just it, it doesn't look like that's coming anytime soon
I was trying so bloody hard to be positive, to be upbeat. The Vaccine being allowed and rolled out made me smile and feel like yes, this is it now, the beginning of the end.
Yet despite reaching the 15 million milestone, you still have Sage and PHE saying, rule of 6, social distancing, masks, no group meet ups, no weddings, no parties, until, well, who knows because they refuse to say other than "indefinitely". I've seen it suggested that this will continue until well into next year.
Next year!
Yet we are supposed to send our kids back to school in 3 weeks time? Teachers are meant to feel safe? We already lost a teacher at our school because one stupid, moronic bastard family couldn't say no to their bratty kid having his birthday party, and 60 other moronic families allowed 60 kids to attend. It takes a group like that to cause a huge wave within a school, which is exactly what happened from half term in October onwards, resulting in the death of a teacher.
They're saying about Biden coming over for some summit in Cornwall. Of 5,000 at some house race in May. Of people allowed back into football matches and Wimbledon and the theatre.
Yet we can't have people in our homes, or have parties or go to the pub or have a fucking life for the foreseeable?
It's total mixed messages.
Close the fucking border like they should have done from February last year, like Australia has and is now, without vaccines, having concerts and life.
