To be health secretary in worst pandemic in generations will test,l anyone,and anyone would make mistakes,so I'm not excusing that: However,if he has to be accountable for those,which I agree he does,he also deserves the credit when things go well, mainly the vaccine rollout,and the early ordering,which is going so well,and giving so much hope,and protection,to many

I've always said I think he does well.

I trust him more than the others. He has a very calm manner about him and always sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

I liked him right from the start, apart from the DC fail. I expect had he not toe-d the line back then his head would have rolled.

I am glad he is still there, I like him for his calm unflappable manner and the fact that he never appears at conflict with his co-presenters.

I like him slightly more since I read that he didn’t want to use a US firm to produce the Oxford vaccine due to his worries about Trump, so Oxford ended up partnering AZ (if true). I still think he’s a twat in most ways though.
