Vaccine link thread?

I was reading a thread last night that had the link to book vaccines if you were in the right category. I can’t find it now this morning, was there a problem with it? I wanted to book in laws (70’s) this morning but I don’t want to if there is an issue. They’d probably rather catch Covid than go to an ill gotten appointment.

My ECV Dad has his jab on Monday thanks to the link He still hasn't received his letter so definitely got in a week or two sooner than he would have. We are all thrilled.

So pleased to hear this!

DH’s letter, dated 24 January, arrived in this morning’s post.
Thanks to this thread, he had his first jab on Saturday morning. Six of our friends have since been vaccinated , or booked in , because of you, gisbons .

So I've managed to get my DM booked in this morning shes 67 so they must be starting on group 5

Not sure if anyone is still reading this... I've just tried to book my vaccination, I'm in rollout 6, anyway but my details in and there is a new screen comes up saying I've missed my first vaccination so need to rebook! I've never had an invite or had a booked appointment. I then tried to book but it just said I'm not eligible! Hope I haven't had an appointment sent in the post and it's gone missing. Is it worth ringing 119 to ask do you think?

Mine says the same thing, I'm also in group 6 and not had any previous appointments.

@covidvaccinequestion oh really?! Must be some system glitch. I rang 119 this morning and I definitely haven't missed my appointment so at least that's good

We’ve just been told in our area that we’ll be called by surgery staff who will book an appointment for us.

Or they can book into the national booking system if they are eligible. Applies in all areas.

Bumping to say if you think you fall into the category of the additional 1.7million people who have been given priority for the vaccine, check on the national booking system. People have been flagged via their NHS records so it should pick you up. If it doesn't, keep checking!
