A meal with my twin for our 30th. Was meant to be in Disneyland. Will be gutted if we can't see each other at all.

I still hold onto some small hope that Wimbledon will go ahead. I had tickets last year which i was refunded for but they said would offer same tickets to people who won ballot again.

I hope to take my Cubs camping this summer...

Florida in November. It was booked in March 2019 and we were supposed to be going last year but obviously had to move it. I ideally wanted to go before we start having to pay extortionate prices for the school holidays!

Is it that unrealistic? 6 months or so is a long time away.

I would say my hair appointment I have booked for next month - doubt it’ll happen!

A charity hike in Wales (I'm in England) it's not until July, so have kept my hotel reservation and space and will just wait and see. I imagine I'll have to cancel though.

".....Wimbledon ....."

oh that is such a lovely thought.....

I'm not cancelling anything until it's cancelled by the organisers. Supposed to be going to Butlins at Easter, if I cancel I'll lose my money so I'll wait for them to do it.

CeeJay81 · 26/01/2021 15:37

It's my 40th end of March. Was hoping to be able to celebrate with a meal out, I did originally think about going with the work crew but if I can go with 2 friends, I'd be happy. Doubt pubs will be open by then though.

nowbringmethathorizon · 26/01/2021 15:45

DH and I have a night away in a hotel that was booked for my birthday in November. It's already been rearranged twice and is currently booked on 18th March. No idea whether it'll go ahead but haven't booked the leave off work yet! Each time I do I have to cancel it and feel like a bell end for even hoping.

LindaEllen · 26/01/2021 15:48

A huge get together with my hobby. It's usually annually and it's just amazing. Obviously got cancelled last year, been booked for September. I'm sure things will be somewhat better by then - but for this to go ahead things would have to be normal as it's a huge indoor gathering from all over the country so it's not been cancelled yet, but I have a feeling it will be.

Robbybobtail · 26/01/2021 15:48

Those with things booked in the UK in Summer - can I ask why you think they won’t go ahead?
I seriously doubt summer holidays in this country will be cancelled. We have a vaccine, numbers are dropping - at the moment we are still seeing the fallout from Christmas/new year. Summer is going to be very different. Look at last summer!

Spodge · 26/01/2021 15:49

UK hotel break in mid March. Possibly also the UK break booked in mid June and the US cruise booked a couple of years ago for October. Sigh.

MillicentMargaretAmanda · 26/01/2021 15:51

Easter holiday abroad. Booked 2 years ago. Very doubtful that it will happen but haven't had the heart to cancel it yet, or even fully accept in my head that it is cancelled.

JosephineDeBeauharnais · 26/01/2021 15:53

Skiing, end of March...
I’m talking myself into cancelling this week but I can’t bear it.

ImsorryWilson · 26/01/2021 15:54

"Skiing, end of March..."

is it sort of both paniful yet beautiful to think about?
I never realised I cared so much about Wimbledon!

Holiday to France in August. Deposit was £100. Worth it just to dream..

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 26/01/2021 15:58

I was hoping we could recreate Christmas at Easter as we didn't see anyone over Christmas...

Bubbinsmakesthree · 26/01/2021 15:59

Weekend away in a holiday cottage in UK at the start of May with another household. Think it’s about 50:50 at best at the moment. I suspect one family might be able to buy the other one out and go but think good likelihood that we still won’t be allowed that kind of household mixing by then.

bigbluebus · 26/01/2021 16:01

A holiday in UK at end of June - with 2 other couples in same accommodation.

I've just had concert tickets for March moved to June 2022 - the concert was originally in Nov 2020.

JustFrustrated · 26/01/2021 16:04
