All this close everything for everyone. Has there been cases at your child KW school or nursery since Christmas ? Both mine absolutely fine so far.

Yep DS2 is isolating currently because his bubble popped last Tuesday on his second day back after Christmas

EvilEdna1 · 12/01/2021 12:19

Work in a school. A bubble burst after 2 days.

Megan2018 · 12/01/2021 12:21

Nothing at our nursery yet. But with all the colds and general germs I’m sure there are mild cases that have been missed, we can’t test for all snot and the symptoms in little ones are unclear.

Yorkshirepudding1987 · 12/01/2021 12:21

My son has been in nursery the whole time. They haven't had a single case.

Kitcat122 · 12/01/2021 12:23

I work in a school. I am self isolating. We have had 3 bubbles burst and multiple staff and children ill/waiting test results.

RMRM · 12/01/2021 12:36

My child isn't in one, but the keyworker bubble for his class had a positive case on Friday.

10storeylovesong · 12/01/2021 12:48

My 3 year old had 1 day back in nursery after Xmas before he had to isolate for 10 days.

CaptainVanesHair · 12/01/2021 13:21

CMs bubble has burst five times since September. They’re currently waiting for test results for themselves this time. I’m worried for them. They’ve got a lot of NHS and teaching parents and they’re all working where it’s rampant.

DDs school is in a trust with four other schools and they’ve only had two bursts from the whole trust. Dd’s school was the only local primary to not have cases before Christmas. And we’re in a low case area overall (though it is rising).

Not yet. 1 week in, classes are 7kids max. They had loads last term (my Y1 had three lots of them!).

I'm saving annual leave ready for the inevetable.

DS no but DN in his nursery has had to isolate

TankGirl97 · 12/01/2021 13:24

Keyworker bubble for ds's class went on Friday. A TA tested positive.

Ostryga · 12/01/2021 13:29

Dd has been back at nursery since 2nd June and zero cases. 84 children at her nursery.

olderthanyouthink · 12/01/2021 13:31

DDs nursery bubble burst at the end of last week, first one of the three sister nurseries and it's the smallest one.

Bargebill19 · 12/01/2021 13:32

Yes

JoeWicksSurvivor · 12/01/2021 13:34

Keyworker bubble burst with child testing positive.

Sanch1 · 12/01/2021 13:38

Nothing in our school through first lockdown, autumn term or since they've been back this month. Fingers crossed it continues!

Floobydo · 12/01/2021 14:24

Yes we had our first bubble burst (first ever as a school) at the start of this week. Children & adults have tested positive.

3littlewords · 12/01/2021 14:27

Not my dc school but a local school has
bubbles closed as a parent sent a child in awaiting test results which turned out to be positive Shock

Hasn't been a single case/no 'burst bubbles' in DDs school since they went back in September.

She has a keyworker place 2 days a week and so far so good

thismeansnothing · 12/01/2021 14:39

Were in the north west where we have been in T3 and now T4 for what feels like forever

Foilball · 12/01/2021 14:48

My children aren't in, but a child who is attending school tested positive on Friday

redfairylights · 12/01/2021 15:16

Yes - primary school. South East

Whyarewehardofthinking · 12/01/2021 15:29

Not us but 2 nearby secondaries already have. We have a student waiting for test results right now as well.

TrashedWarrior · 12/01/2021 15:55

Yes to both questions, popped by the end of the week via 3 people, mix of staff and kids.
