All this close everything for everyone. Has there been cases at your child KW school or nursery since Christmas ? Both mine absolutely fine so far.

Relatively low rates too. Around 280 per 100 k.

IndecentFeminist · 12/01/2021 16:02

Nope. No cases in nursery throughout either

SnowFields · 12/01/2021 16:03

Yes, one form intake school. One year already off and other positive cases amongst staff who thankfully hadn’t had contact this year so not impacting the children.

TierFourTears · 12/01/2021 16:08

EasterIssland · 12/01/2021 16:08

lovemirage · 12/01/2021 16:09

Four bubbles burst in dc primary. Hardly any at school atm.

GoldenPoppy · 12/01/2021 16:09

Both bubbles have popped in my nursery since Christmas. 6 staff 5 children.

trevthecat · 12/01/2021 16:09

Our nursery bubble popped today

hiredandsqueak · 12/01/2021 16:38

Dd has been in school throughout, no cases in the school among teachers or children. Two office staff positive but they were on a different site to the teachers and children. Long may it continue.

ramblingsonthego · 12/01/2021 16:42

My daughters childcare have had 1 case since the reopened in June. This was in December. No other child or worker caught it and they all isolated for the required time.

Fembot123 · 12/01/2021 16:42

No.

SquigglePigs · 12/01/2021 16:46

Nursery has been open in full since last June and just had their first case today. Hope it stays as just that.

Year 2 bubble burst. One family positive which caused it

Ellieboolou33 · 12/01/2021 16:49

I burst my reception aged child's bubble yesterday.
She is as taking part in covid research by imperial college London and had a swab, tested positive, she had and still has NO symptoms.

Covine · 12/01/2021 16:52

The bubble DD would have been in had I sent her has burst and my neighbour who works in a nearby school is currently isolating due to her bubble bursting.

We've also had a positive case at work (not a school though).

TheLevyEyebrowsFancIub · 12/01/2021 16:52

Yes - week 2 of new term

NotExactlyMrsCurrentAffairs · 12/01/2021 16:55

Yes, 3 year groups at DS's school. All of SLT except HT are SI too

yellowstoneranch · 12/01/2021 16:58

yes, secondary school sent bubble home yesterday after a positive case. Our 2 children are at home anyway but feel so sorry for those that are having to use :(

middleager · 12/01/2021 16:59

Local primary.

The bubble burst six times for my son at secondary between Sept and Dec. He also caught Covid and 20% of his form have now had it. At least now he's home learning, we feel we actually have more of a life without constant isolations, though not ideal in Y10.

Onmyown1 · 12/01/2021 17:03

My daughter is a nursery nurse and they’ve had to close earlier this afternoon as member of staff tested positive and all staff have been in contact. First full closure since first lockdown ended although they regularly have staff off isolating.

Gotobloodysleep · 12/01/2021 17:04

Yes the nursery I work in has burst today. 2 members of staff tested positive 1st time for our room, not the first case in the nursery. 😞

Scarby9 · 12/01/2021 17:05

Keyworker bubble burst with TA testing positive on Friday.

itsallabouttobegin · 12/01/2021 17:06

Yes 3 year old sent home from nursery yesterday as confirmed case in his bubble. 🙄

whittystitties · 12/01/2021 17:07

No burst bubbles here... does make you wonder

LillethCrane · 12/01/2021 17:08
