Just that really. Did all this really stem from someone eating a bat in China

It stems from overpopulation, encroaching into animal habitats and becoming too close to them. This is a warning. It’ll happen again and again and could be even worse.

All those people that says it was created in a lab- there was a paper published last March (featured in the guardians long read) by world leading virologists that debunked this myth.

They understand the Coronavirus family of viruses better than most in the world. They explained it was quite easy to see the evolutionary link between covid19 and previous viruses ie sars/mers etc.

They also understand the tell tale signs that a virus has been manipulated- if you are a world leader in the field you will understand this better than pretty much anyone. Those tell-tale signs are not present and they concluded that it is a natural progression for this class of virus.

I’ll believe those type of specialists- it’s been their life work studying these things, unlike most of the shite any old random spouts on the Internet. That’s my 2p.

It either jumped the species barrier between a wild animal and humans in a wet market due to zero animal welfare rights and bad hygeine, health and safety regulations.

It 'accidentally' escaped from a lab.

I heard that the bat who started all this was seen visiting Bill Gates’ house in November and they were overheard discussing microchips. Not saying this happened, just say that’s what I heard.

It comes from US. Humans are massive greedy arseholes encroaching on natural habitats - sucking every piece of monetary value out of it.

We will kill all the polar bears, burn all the koalas, melt all the water.

And eventually be killed off by something we could have prevented if we weren't such massive cunts.

As much as I know people don't agree with me, I don't think we. as humans, were meant to eat live animals and it started like that really. Eating live bats and pangolins in China.

Anthropologists would disagree also. It's all in the teeth, which have evolved to allow humans to be natural omnivores.

Obviously, these days we can choose.

Humans eating live food isn't that extreme is it? Isn't there some raw/live crab dish delicacy some where?

Not to mention people eat live grubs. Undercooked food causes no end if problems too. Worms pararasites bacteria etc

It came from a lab in China, likely an accident that got covered up for too long I believe. There are reports of some of the lab staff dying very quickly (and young) in quick succession after which there were vacancies for the lab working on 'coronavirus' types. I don't think they did it on purpose at all, I think someone made a mistake and it wasn't controlled until it was too late.

China will never admit that they made this mistake, for some reason they thought it better to blame it on the poor.

Generally speaking, the Chinese tend to cook their food, even grubs.

It's a damn shame, indeed! Bloody amazing band.

SARS in 2002 originated from a leak from a lab (twice actually) and China punished the two staff "responsible".

The reality is that no one will ever discover the truth. China has blocked access to any investigation for over a year indeed they blocked the WHO visit yesterday. Any evidence will have been cleared away all online research from the Wuhan lab has recently been deleted etc etc.

The circumstantial evidence doesn't look good though.
The outbreak was first noticed in Wuhan
The Wuhan laboratory specialises into research into corona viruses specifically research into viruses from bats.
An outbreak of a new virus in a cave originating from bats that killed three locals was investigated by the Wuhan Lab to determine what caused the deaths.
Lax bio control at the Lab was flagged by an American visitor.
China has consistently and is currently blocking a WHO investigation.

China meantime is spreading misinformation on the origins of the outbreak saying it could have started in Italy or the US etc in order to create an element of doubt they are to blame.

I believe in the conspiracy that it's manmade by different governments in different countries to cull the elderly, ethnic minorities and the deprived. Unfortunately they didn't bank on it starting to kill or make ill of the young. It's too weird China are practically back to normal and the US are leaving it to run rampant. I also think it's suspect our government ignored 4 cobra meetings and decided to ignore warnings for atleast 4 months. Although it's at a massive to all governments. Think about it. Less people, less money the government have spend in the end result mass deaths mainly from the 3 groups mainly infected. No way did this come from a person eating a bat. I also find it totally weird they found the new Uk varient in a place where they engineer things. It got around the world too quickly inmho it has to have been man made.
