How long did it take?

We’ve got a thread going for those of us waiting on results but it’s getting hard to track now.

If you have had a result back in the last week can you just post here with how long it took in hours?

@UncomfortableSilence we tested 8:30am Sunday and are still waiting. Really hope it comes back today. DH is NHS staff and missing work when they are already really short staffed so he really can’t have a third day off.

21 hours. Tested Sunday lunchtime, results 9am Monday. Negative.

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 22/12/2020 10:27

I think they’re prioritising the positive results. Ds and I tested last Thursday at 10, Positive results just before midnight. Dh, ds and dd tested 12 on Friday, dh positive result at 4 on Saturday, the kids negatives at 6am on Sunday. All drive through tests.

We are in an area where they are mass testing so we were expecting delays. I'm 99% sure I have it and now DH too, a colleague came to work who sits near me with symptoms Angry

My DS and I were tested at 9.30am yesterday and results back 4.30am today so less than 24 hours. In an area with lots of cases in Kent.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 22/12/2020 10:41

Tested last Wednesday 11am (at a no symptoms walk-in). Negative result received 8am Saturday, so within 3 days.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 22/12/2020 10:42

That's East London btw.

SymphonyofShadows · 22/12/2020 10:43

DS was tested just over a week ago, postal test, and it only took 18 hours (negative), north London. My friends DC works in a London test lab and they have been flat out this week. A week ago it was with people getting tested privately for travel but now they are inundated with NHS tests and are all doing massive amounts of overtime.

hedgehogger1 · 22/12/2020 10:44

Tested Thurs got result yesterday. It was for the Zoe trial though with no symptoms so I'm not sure if I get moved down the sorting list

TheresNothingIWantMore · 22/12/2020 10:45
