Just that really, im in Sheffield and id assumed as per Boris's press conference that all tier 3 area's would be getting rapid mass testing. So far there has been no mention of it. Just wondering if others have? I had planned on getting us all tested once the kids break up from school, prior to meeting family over Christmas.

North East here. Nope!

Athinginitself · 10/12/2020 10:49

Also in Sheffield so no! I would get tested too before Christmas but they are really unreliable so not sure how helpful it is really.

TheGreatWave · 10/12/2020 10:53

No

Toddlerteaplease · 10/12/2020 10:54

Nope.

HairyFloppins · 10/12/2020 10:57

Yes here in Stoke On Trent they are inviting people with no symptoms for a lateral flow test. They are being done every day at the leisure centres. Have to book about a day in advance.

Foobydoo · 10/12/2020 10:58

No, borough of greater Manchester.

LittleRen · 10/12/2020 10:58

We are tier 2 (very low, we were very high) and we have access to rapid symptom free testing

HarrietOh · 10/12/2020 11:07

North East here, nope!

Pootles34 · 10/12/2020 11:08

East Yorkshire here - no mention as yet. I assume they're prioritising students at the moment, as the students here are all being encouraged to have it.

campion · 10/12/2020 11:09

Apparently there are 3 in Birmingham for 1 and a quarter million people.

We also haven't been given a single covid vaccine.

Bubblemonkey · 10/12/2020 11:21

Leeds doesn’t [where I live] but swear Huddersfield does. Looking at the weekly cases, we seem to have less cases though so 🤷🏼‍♀️

movingonup20 · 10/12/2020 11:52

Nope, but then we shouldn't be in tier 3, rate is currently under 60 per 100k in my town, 120 fir the county. We got lumped in with the big city in the neighbouring county for some reason, it's £7 and 40 mins to get into the city where you can get a test

Madeupwithit · 10/12/2020 11:53

Nope. Manchester.

CaptainCarp · 10/12/2020 11:54

Nope but theres one in Wolverhampton which a neighbouring Borough.
Don't know of any others in the area.

LittleG69 · 10/12/2020 11:56

Nottingham and no

DappledOliveGroves · 10/12/2020 12:01

Not to my knowledge. Bristol, Tier 3.

WhoLettheCatOut · 10/12/2020 12:04

Same area here and I've been waiting but nothing. We've had an outbreak at school and test results tend to come back after 24 hours so I'm not sure there would be benefit in mass testing but I would like to see some hotspots getting it to try and detect asymptomatic cases.

JacobReesMogadishu · 10/12/2020 12:05

Midlands, tier 3. Nope.

ComDummings · 10/12/2020 12:06

Nope

Whyarewehardofthinking · 10/12/2020 12:09

Nope not in Manchester or Bolton where DP teaches. You would have thought that we would have by now...

heidihigh · 10/12/2020 12:10

I work in stoke on Trent. They have mass testing for residents at a local leisure centre. Think there are also approx 3 (possibly 2) other test sites in the city

bathsh3ba · 10/12/2020 12:18

Not in Bristol (our nearest Tier 3 city) as far as I know.

Terminator7 · 10/12/2020 12:21

Nope.
North Somerset / tier 3

madaboutrunning · 10/12/2020 13:13

Midlands, no.

MyVisionsComeFromScent · 10/12/2020 13:17
