I had it it my head every 3 weeks but that would take us up to the 22nd December which is cutting it neat! Will she do them more regularly. I can't find anything online.

I also think Glasgow and Lanarkshire are likely to go to level 4. Although having said that, the numbers always seem high for Glasgow but Greater Glasgow health board does cover a huge area.

HadEnoughOfBears · 15/11/2020 21:09

I'm in West Lothian. Figures are going down but not quickly enough so still expecting Level 4 for a couple of weeks 🙁

randomsabreuse · 15/11/2020 21:17

East Dunbartonshire and expecting Level 4. Raided Primark, H&M and Decathlon yesterday for kids clothes and winter stuff in case they're shut (5 year old is growing like a weed)

I have 2 (fortunately season) planned visits to Blair Drummond planned before end December, 5 year old will be very disappointed as it's too far, and there's nothing equivalent in our area.

Mammylamb · 15/11/2020 22:56

Definitely expecting tier 4 in Glasgow announced on Tuesday. Expect west Dunbartonshire too, the cases in clydebank are just nuts

ParkheadParadise · 15/11/2020 23:03

Looks like we are heading into tier 4.
Hairdresser's nails and eyebrows booked for Tuesday morning.

HakeCod · 15/11/2020 23:05

Hopefully Edinburgh will be headed for tier 2 soon. We’re well within the threshold.

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 15/11/2020 23:06

I'm Fife and not sure what to expect...

ssd · 15/11/2020 23:16

Are gyms closed in tier 4

ParkheadParadise · 15/11/2020 23:19

@ssd

Level 4 info for Sports and Leisure

You are permitted to meet others outdoors, following the rules around meeting other households, for informal exercise or sport.

Indoor sports facilities are closed.

Outdoor gyms can remain open.

Outdoor non-contact sports are permitted for all age groups.

Sports organisations will need to refer to guidance produced by their Scottish Governing Body of Sport and ensure they operate in line with the guidance.

I’m North Lanarkshire and think we’re heading for Tier 4. I’m worried for DD1 and 2 and the orthodontist, DD1 has had her braces on for over 3 years she’s due to get them off end of the month she’s so looking forward to it. DD2 is due to get hers on beginning of December she had an op scheduled for April to expose a tooth and was supposed to get her braces on then, no word on op as yet but they are putting her braces on regardless.

Shops were so busy this weekend think everyone is Christmas shopping and stocking up.

GreyishDays · 16/11/2020 07:39
@Mcmole you can see the Zebra enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo if you walk up Cortorphine hill. It's lovely and quite isolated
They’re never standing in the right place when we do that. The first time we did it I can across them by accident, standing right by the fence! Only seen them once since and we go up there every month or so.

Plump82 · 16/11/2020 13:09

Well think Lanarkshire and Glasgow are more or less confirmed for Tier 4 tomorrow.

Drawmelikeoneofyourfrenchgirls · 16/11/2020 16:32

@Plump82 where did you see this was confirmed?

dementedpixie · 16/11/2020 16:35

I dont think its confirmed just yet but is fully expected from comments today

When's the next update for Scotland?
Drawmelikeoneofyourfrenchgirls · 16/11/2020 16:48

It’s madness, into level 4 for the sake of one day? I would quite happily have Christmas at home rather than go into lockdown. I work in non essential retail and lockdown this close to Christmas would be a disaster. I probably won’t have a job anymore

Plump82 · 16/11/2020 18:02

Yep this is what i was meaning.

@Mcmole

I'm really hoping travel restrictions will be lifted by 20 dec as we've booked for Edinburgh zoo (not in our council area) and have already had to cancel one winter lights event. Probably won't be though Sad Don't think our level will change but I can definitely see level 4 coming in for Glasgow etc.
I've booked Blair Drummond for the 19th of December I will be absolutely gutted if we don't get to go Sad
Torvean32 · 16/11/2020 19:20

Sturgeon is a joke, if she addressed the Glasgow issue from the start , this scenario woild not be happening.
She doesnt want to put anybody in a 0
Aberdeen should have been put in at a 1

( but we know she doesn't like us).

When we had that ",mahoosive outbreak)" of 220ish ppl . She only punished Aberdeen city, so a small shire outbreak should not change our rank.

At least half the time we have lower cases thsn the Highlands. Our cases are falling. We deserve tier 1.

BBCONEANDTWO · 16/11/2020 19:44

Is it only Glasgow and Lanarkshire that will be going into 4 do you think?

Sally872 · 16/11/2020 19:49

Briefings Mon-Fri. Tues is review day for levels. Any changed are announced then take effect from Friday.

Does sound like level 4 for Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow. Think tomorrow's briefing is at 2.20pm. Will be on scot parliment web page, twitter and Clyde 1 Facebook page.

Sally872 · 16/11/2020 19:51

@BBCONEANDTWO Glasgow and Lanarkshire were mentioned when she talked of some areas moving to level 4. I think that means they are most likely, but there could be others.

Thanks - the figures are so much better today I think it's a shame to move up a level.

thedevilinablackdress · 16/11/2020 19:53

@BBCONEANDTWO Renfrewshire currently has the highest infections rates in Scotland, so looks like T4 there too.
