I had it it my head every 3 weeks but that would take us up to the 22nd December which is cutting it neat! Will she do them more regularly. I can't find anything online.
@BBCONEANDTWO Renfrewshire currently has the highest infections rates in Scotland, so looks like T4 there too.
Realistically which areas do you think will go to Tier 4?

theotherfossilsister · 16/11/2020 20:20

@GreyishDays maybe I just got lucky when I went up there, it was pretty cool to see them as I wasn't expecting it.

BBCONEANDTWO · 16/11/2020 20:34

Gobsmacked - found out that you can still golf during Tier 4 - that's not a lockdown!

dementedpixie · 16/11/2020 20:40

Thats because golf is outdoors. Garden centres can also stay open if they have outdoor areas

randomsabreuse · 16/11/2020 20:45

8% of tests were positive - so similar proportion of positive tests just fewer processed - seems to be a common Sunday thing.

Rumours suggest both Lanarkshires and all of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board with the possible exception of Inverclyde. If East Dunbartonshire is borderline and Glasgow is in level 4 I'd expect we should be because it is pretty closely linked to Glasgow especially for hospitals.

So do you think Dobbies will be able to stay open - what if you have to walk through the indoor area to get to the outdoor area though? It's very confusing.
dementedpixie · 16/11/2020 20:49

Don't know specifically about Dobbies but the guidance says:

Click and collect, on-line services and outdoor retail, such as garden centres, outdoor markets and car lots, can also remain open.

@dementedpixie thank you very much you're very knowledgeable about the restrictions. It must be frustrating getting all these questions and I appreciate your answers.

She really doesn’t have a handle on it does she. We haven’t been allowed to visit people in Lanarkshire since September . Does she really think if people aren’t listening in Tier 3 that going into 4 will make a difference. It won’t make any difference in my life tier 4. Kids still traveling to school on public transport. Still traveling to work on the train . I can’t see the numbers dropping.

thedevilinablackdress · 17/11/2020 07:50

What do you think should happen @Peppafrig ?

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 08:25

@thedevilinablackdress I think high school children should be learning online .

thedevilinablackdress · 17/11/2020 08:30

Yeah, no doubt it would suppress infection. So tough for them and parents who have to work. No easy decisions.

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 08:47

That is why I said high school kids . As they are old enough to be at home.

dementedpixie · 17/11/2020 09:00

I'd not leave an 11 year old home alone and expect them to do work effectively. Not everyone has the Tech to do it at home either

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 09:03

The government have had 7 months to figure out how to get tech to kids who don’t have it at home.

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 09:07

I imagine it would work the way it did the first lockdown kids who were vulnerable would still go into school.

thedevilinablackdress · 17/11/2020 09:09

And you'd really leave 11/12/13 year olds at home all day learning remotely?
I'm 47 and find it hard to concentrate WFH

thedevilinablackdress · 17/11/2020 09:10

Ah, ok x-post

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 09:28

I think in Wales the younger high school kids went in so 1st and 2nd year for example. This still won’t be enough to suppress the virus and how much longer are we expected not to see family? It’s been since September now. Mental health is at an all time low. Are we going to be still on here in three weeks after heavier restrictions and still the number isn’t lower? Then what another three weeks? I follow all the rules but it doesn’t make sense to me. My husband will live in a tier 4 and be traveling to work in a tier 1 and will visit multiple work sites. But that’s allowed . Makes no sense to me .

Peppafrig · 17/11/2020 09:30

Sorry I meant to say he is allowed to travel to a tier 2 not 1

Plump82 · 17/11/2020 14:48

Tier 4 for three weeks! Wasnt expecting it to be that long.
