How long have you waited for test results?

Took test in London on Monday at 12:00pm, still no results. How long have people waited so far?

I came on to ask the same thing! We had our test 10.30 on Monday morning and still no result! I was told 48 is what they expect, but that it could go to 72 hours 😩

I'd be keen to hear what the norm seems to be, based on people here who've had it done ..

South east here, tested Monday morning, results back Tuesday afternoon. Had been told it could be up to 72 hrs though.

Tested Monday at 4pm in gatwick. Result emailed to me at 3am this morning. Text at 7. So 36 hours ish

around 28 hours in Yorkshire for results. Did take a long time to book the actual test though.

Booked test two hours beforehand (drive through). Got results 28 hours after test. East Yorkshire

30 hours, West Yorkshire.

This was last week.

Wow! I’ve got a hair appointment booked for Saturday and of course will not go if positive and isolate but I feel awful giving them short notice as they’re a small business who have just reopened at a third of their capacity. Want to know so I can let them know! My symptoms have totally gone so feel fine. Will wait for the negative hopefully!

In Devon and my son had one last week on a Monday and we didn't get results until Thursday! Two boys off school for no reason.

Test Sunday lunchtime, results by Tuesday morning.

Somerset..l get tested every Thursday and results normally Sunday night or Monday morning.

So about 45 hours for us.

So looks like we might have to wait till tomorrow if we had the test Monday! So annoying 😩

49 hours and counting here

It was around 70 hours for us (home test, as there was no availability for a drive through test).

Tested in wales on Monday morning. 55 hour and counting. Missing school, missing work, all probably for a negative result. People will lose tolerance for this pretty quickly unless the system gets sorted out. 24 hours should be the standard.

Monday morning and still waiting here. I got all exited this morning thinking ooh 48 hours is up but it dawning on me that it could be 72 hours.
if its negative we have lost a lot of school unnecessarily. if its positive, all those close contacts that aren't in his household have had plenty of time to spread it about

We did ours Monday morning, so it went in the 4pm collection from our post box, to Glasgow. Royal Mail tracker said it was received there Tuesday morning, and we got our (negative) results at about 6pm Tuesday.

Same @MillieEpple ! I was also thinking we'd surely hear today at the latest. Still no result, I'm now I'm wondering if we'll even have one tomorrow! People aren't gonna bother doing precautionary testing in the future if it's this much of a mess!

North West. Had it Monday 4pm, got results 8am this morning (positive ffs ) Drive thru test that had 500 slots apparently when i booked it

Tested Monday afternoon in West Sussex - results this morning so 41 hours

Still waiting since 12pm Monday. Was hoping I’d find out today but doesn’t look like it. I had symptoms from last Saturday, by time I get them I would have already spent most of my time in insolation!
