Oh Boris no 🙁

OP posts:
twinkle2306 · 06/04/2020 20:46

@Stopspendingmoney I'm not a Tori but this is horrible. This could have major repercussions on the country. Also his poor fiancée. There is a time and a place for politics this is not it.
Like it or not we are a Tori led country and in today's pandemic we all must pull together and put differences aside

Starlightstarbright1 · 06/04/2020 20:46

I hope he pulls through this . I can’t think why anyone would feel the need to make any other comment on anyone in icu.

Everything has been underplayed about his whole condition . He is very seriously ill.

zsazsajuju · 06/04/2020 20:46

Ah I saw it on Ch 4 news. Apparently he is not on a ventilator but may be on oxygen. I don’t think they would take him to ICU as a precaution so it must be serious. Boris is not my politics at all but like many pps as a fellow human I wish him all the best and hope he recovers fully.

HatRack · 06/04/2020 20:46

You don't get admitted to ICU as a precaution!

This implies that the Government are under playing the situation.

Casino218 · 06/04/2020 20:47

@Tooextra 7 days on average

coachman · 06/04/2020 20:47

This has really shaken me. The poor man - when I saw him on tv last week he looked raw and vulnerable, he reminded me of a teenage boy.

I am crossing everything for him.

Anyone being critical at this time, on a parenting site in particular, should be utterly ashamed.

HappyHammy · 06/04/2020 20:47

Oh my. I will say a little prayer for him and everyone affected by this. I do hope he pulls through. He always seems such a positive person so I hope that helps him and his loved ones. I will feel very sad if he dies..

Dimosaur · 06/04/2020 20:47

Just cos he's in itu doesn't mean he's on a ventilater... Maybe just to give him extra care.
Either way, hopefully he will pull through.

headispounding · 06/04/2020 20:47

I've really missed him lately (and I didn't really like him before) but I think he's been so good through this. I love his enthusiastic 'we can do this' attitude whilst being serious when needed but friendly and calm too. I really want him to pull through. We all need him back.

Isla727 · 06/04/2020 20:47

It's really shocking. I hope he gets better. I'm not a Tory and never will be but I'm a human.

hellsbells99 · 06/04/2020 20:48

Poor man. Get well soon Boris.

Michelleoftheresistance · 06/04/2020 20:48

Poor man. Come on Boris.

PipGirl404 · 06/04/2020 20:48

I'm sure he will be fine.

He's the PM so he'll be receiving far better care than your average joes do.

Hope he recovers well from it though, he's a human being, albeit a privileged one, so he deserves everyone's support.

Aramox · 06/04/2020 20:48

He’s relatively young, survival rates are better for the 50-somethings. Fingers crossed.

starrynight19 · 06/04/2020 20:48

Let’s hope all those who have done nothing but berate this man who has continued to work despite being so ill take a step back.
Wish you a speedy recovery Boris for your fiancée and family and your unborn baby.

candle18 · 06/04/2020 20:48

@littlesweet I think he and his family have other things to worry about right now!

TheLadyAnneNeville · 06/04/2020 20:49

I wish him well. This is not good news. Very sad.

RunningNinja79 · 06/04/2020 20:49

Apparently it's precautionary

So was taking him to hospital in the first place.

Hope he pulls through. His poor family.

dementedma · 06/04/2020 20:49

Come on Boris. You’ve got this!

OldLace · 06/04/2020 20:49

Not a fan at all, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Hope the PM pulls round quickly as I'm not confident Raab will be a very competent replacement and we really need calm competence right now.

I don't think cv works like that Hmm

MyBeloved · 06/04/2020 20:49

Please let him get better. He has been amazing during this crisis. Come on , Boris!

TheMagiciansMewTwo · 06/04/2020 20:49

I feel so sorry for him, Carrie and his family. It's horrendous. I hope he pulls through.

JackJackIncredible · 06/04/2020 20:49

Politics are irrelevant, he’s a human and he’s only in his 50s, with a baby on the way.
I wish him a full recovery.
