What is the true story?

Hancock has said he has lost two people close to him.

Somebody I know has died.

Boris has been hospitalised.

The country has been shut down despite us knowing that to do this will cripple us for years to come, so it's a very serious situation.

A small fraction of our population is supposedly affected but I'm guessing we all know people hospitalised or dead.

This is obviously so much worse than we have been told

The obesity stuff is very hard to read for someone in that category but it doesn’t make it any less true. All I can say it’s given me the boot up the backside I need and I’ve already lost 9lb in the last couple of weeks and am making sure I get out every day for my exercise. I can’t change it all overnight same as it didn’t go on overnight so all I can do now is do what I can to reduce my BMI even a bit.

I don’t know if it’s actually being at home all the time and eating with the family for all my meals of the fact I can’t nip to the shop every 10 mins but I’m finding it easier to stick to healthier eating than I have for a long time. Also not having a draining commute and not getting home til I’m ravenous is maybe helping. I’m out now walking every day when Id be commuting. All I can do is pray I get away with it now and it hasn’t been too late and get myself in the best shape I can :(

@MigginsMrs

That’s great!

I think it is the sheer number that need hospitalisation which is causing the huge reaction from all countries.
Over 20% will need some kind of hospitalisation. That’s huge numbers and warrants the shut down.

Complete nonsense, unless you're talking about the over-80s who will almost certainly fall into the shielding group anyway.

Some people on multiple meds are overweight but it's more the side effects than lifestyle that causes the weight gain. My friend has this problem : she eats really well but going out for a walk floors her due to her health complications.
It's not always overeating or lack of exercise that causes weight gain.
Lots of healthy people could do more to get fit and lose weight ( myself included) but it's not always black and white.

I agree @MigginsMrs I’m not overweight but after a day at work (school) it’s very hard to not snack or pour a glass of wine. At the moment I’m waking later, eating later breakfast and lunch and so making it to my evening meal without snacking plus I’m having time to exercise daily.

Well done @MigginsMrs hope you get yourself to a better place health wise.
