I’ve been looking for some this week and there appears to be none. The boots website even says they won’t be getting any further stock. Is there a supply issue?

Same as how do you sanitise the tap, door handle, bottle of soap.... you can’t.

@EasyTarget there's some fucking bitches on this thread.

It was a genuine question I was asking in case I had missed some information and should have been using liquid soap instead. I never suggested anyone shouldn't have a personal choice. If you want to take my question in a different way that it was meant I can't change that. Take offence go head, that's your personal choice also. I won't be commenting on this thread any further.

Fwiw your comment made me think. Since the shortages we've gone to bar soap and I have realised I've sent thousands of bottles to landfill over the years that don't need to be there. I've never given it a second thought before.

My local boots had some today - carex and all sorts. I think you need to shop for what you need in the place people wouldn't normally.

So look for loo roll and supermarket type items in the corner shop.
Soap, shampoo and stuff people normally now buy at a big supermarket in the chemist.

That type of thing.

We live in a village and the local hardware / DIY shop sometimes has liquid hand soap available for refills if you bring (or send someone with) a container.

I’ve always wondered what the attraction is of liquid soaps - all that packaging and a germ-ridden pump.

Same as shower gel. I tried it once but found it didn’t lather as well as soap unless you use one of those plastic puff ball things, and then how do you wash those? They must be a breeding ground for germs.

I generally use a bar, but I filled up a few old hand wash containers with shower gel.

I have both. I use liquid soap if I have been out my home (rare atm) or preparing food but I use bar soap as well during the day.

No one else uses the latter in my household.

It is more economical and environmentally friendly

I've been getting all my soap/liquid soap from Body Shop. It is not cheap, but lasts forever.

We are using up the shower gels we got for Christmas now, we are shielding DS so haven't been to the shops and couldn't get any type of soap in our online shopping delivery.
