Will the lockdown be extended ?

After the three weeks are up?

We here in NL have had it extended until 28th April, followed by 2wks half term, so mid-May. We are now in week 3 - so be ready for at least 10 weeks of this :-(

Yes, very likely. Other countries lockdowns have been two months and still going, why would we be different? Especially when our infection/death numbers are all on roughly the same trajectory

I think it'll be extended, just as it has in other countries. This doesn't fill me with joy but it is what it is to get the job done.

I can't believe people seem to think this will all go away in 3 weeks. As I understand it things will reach a peak in 3 weeks.

I suspect we have a good chance or some restrictions being lifted at that stage, unless this escalated horribly past their predictions I’d be surprised if we have this level of lock down for more than the six weeks.

It will be extended. I read a report today suggesting peak will be between 6th-30th April then a slow decline. I think lockdown will carry on until June.

Garages are re-booking service appointments for June, but that appears optimistic

That's what I am afraid of further restrictions. At the moment I'm finding it quite bearable but not sure how it would be without the exercise and freedom to go shopping when needed without a permit.
