No. WHO have just tweeted that Covid-19 is not airborne, if that helps, though. You can go and see it at source on their account.

I’d have gone insane without my windows open this week.

GenevaMaybe · 28/03/2020 19:56

That is really slightly mad (sorry). Open your windows, it will be fine

Tootletum · 28/03/2020 19:56

Lol no I am not scared of opening the windows. It's not sarin, is it.

DazzlingDee · 28/03/2020 19:57

No Confused

Conrad79 · 28/03/2020 19:57

Open your windows!! It’ll do you good Shock

Conrad79 · 28/03/2020 19:58

(Providing you aren’t letting loads of pollution in)

HoffiCoffi13 · 28/03/2020 19:58

No. I’m not scared to open windows and I’m not scared to go for my daily walk, staying 2 metres from anyone else.

kingkuta · 28/03/2020 19:58

No, the advice is you should have windows open to ventilate your home

HundredMilesAnHour · 28/03/2020 19:59

No.

Actually my former doctor in Hong Kong (who is one of the leading doctors there for COVID-19 and previously SARS) recommends that you must definitely DO open your windows. Her exact recommedation is

"Open your windows to keep your home well-ventilated."

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 28/03/2020 19:59

No! That's a very irrational way of thinking. Open your windows!

Heismyopendoor · 28/03/2020 20:00

No.

niffynoonoo · 28/03/2020 20:01

no.

Reginabambina · 28/03/2020 20:01

No, it’s a virus not radioactive spread.

MowzersAsleep · 28/03/2020 20:01

Let the air flow through.

amazedmummy · 28/03/2020 20:01

I wish I could open mine but my indoor cats would escape. Let some air in, it's safe.

AmputatedSoul · 28/03/2020 20:01

Nope.
I think you're on your own there OP.

Dongdingdong · 28/03/2020 20:02

I think it’s worse for your health NOT to open the windows!

Lenny1980 · 28/03/2020 20:02

There have been some pretty bonkers things posted on MN the last couple of weeks and this is right up there!

Imapotato · 28/03/2020 20:02

No I haven’t given it a thought. Had the windows open most of the day.

SquishySquirmy · 28/03/2020 20:03

It is not airborne.

Fresh air is good for you.

Open your windows!

Weregoingonanadventure · 28/03/2020 20:04

@CrapTVAddict
Is your house airtight and fed by its very own oxygen and nitrogen tanks? If the answer is no then where do you think the air in your house came from? That's right... outside.

Opening windows or not opening windows... the air is still from outside. But if you dont ever open your windows then your house gets all stuffy.

OhMy05 · 28/03/2020 20:04

No ventilate your home

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 28/03/2020 20:04

No

Selfsettling3 · 28/03/2020 20:05

No

Kateplaysrugbyinmydreams · 28/03/2020 20:07
