You absolutely MUST have open windows and ventilation.

msbevvy · 28/03/2020 20:13

The text informing people that they are in the extremely vulnerable group actually tells people they can open their windows (but not go out for 12 weeks)

Buutercupdawn · 28/03/2020 20:16

I’ve had my windows opened but noticed no one else near me has at the front at least. I live on a quiet road.

Frankiecandle · 28/03/2020 20:17

My bedroom window is always open. I'm doomed.

Marieo · 28/03/2020 20:18

No, I always have the windows open, except from the rooms DS is in if it's cold! If it makes you feel any better, the only time I close them is when it's foggy as I am terrified of fog getting into the house. Irrational, yes, but it honestly terrifies me!

Scarletoharaseyebrows · 28/03/2020 20:18

No

goose1964 · 28/03/2020 20:19

It w o by let the virus in but it will let pollen in. A pain if you've been stuck inside and have hayfever🌻

Moomin8 · 28/03/2020 20:19

No that is ridiculous

Lifeisabeach09 · 28/03/2020 20:36

Best time to open them. Reduced air pollution currently.

WhyIsIt · 28/03/2020 20:37

I open them all the time

Waxonwaxoff0 · 28/03/2020 20:40

No, of course not. I have my windows open daily as I don't have central heating and my flat would develop damp/mould if I didn't.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/03/2020 20:45

Are you not hanging washing out?
I washed all my bath-towels , hand towels and flannels (at 60c) and hung them out

My cats have a micto-chip door but they'd try and get out of a window just for Shits'n'Giggles Hmm

RishiSunakFanClub · 28/03/2020 20:53

Of course not Hmm

HavenDilemma · 28/03/2020 21:39

'Transmitted?!?!?!?!?!?!' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's not a radio signal!

Omg I'm howling

Cornettoninja · 28/03/2020 21:46

I’ve been more strict about opening my windows. Not based on any current advice to be fair, but I know fresh air was practically prescribed during the days of TB sanatoriums so figured there’s something in it.

PurpleDaisies · 28/03/2020 21:47
Hmm
ZenDay · 28/03/2020 22:01

Open your windows, it's good for you. During the 1918 pandemic people were treated outside in the fresh air & sunshine. I've never slept with the window closed and I live in a very cold winter climate.

GaraMedouar · 28/03/2020 22:05

No

newmobile · 28/03/2020 22:12

Well according to my what's app the other day helicopters were flying and disinfecting the air so you should be alright! Hmm(yes I know!)

hartof · 28/03/2020 22:24

Nope windows are open as much as possible here

ForestYeti · 28/03/2020 22:33

Yes I’ve been worried about opening mine and also it was raining which made me think that that could be spreading the virus more

SouthsideOwl · 28/03/2020 22:35

Jesus wept

Yes... you can open your sodding windows

Bellyfullofbiscuits · 28/03/2020 22:35

Opposite.i have been letting the fresh air in !

Bluntness100 · 28/03/2020 22:40

Gosh, this is a bit concerning, do you suffer from anxiety op or other mental health issues? Of course it’s ok to open your windows, it’s actually advisable.

Do you not go out for your daily exercise? When’s the last time you left your home? How do you get your shopping in?

Bluntness100 · 28/03/2020 22:42

Yes I’ve been worried about opening mine and also it was raining which made me think that that could be spreading the virus more

The virus resides in humans, do you not watch the news? It’s not just hanging around in the air outside our houses like smog.
