Trump started it and wanted to wipe out China's economy so the USA could be #1 but it got out of hand

Or Mother Nature/someone above isn't happy with us so is making us all stay home so the planet can regenerate and we as us humans can learn to stop and take a manicure and be thankful instead of living the fast paced/impatient lifestyle we've become accustomed to.

I've heard it was created in China (& being utilised by all governments) to control population size by weeding out those that are elderly and/or ill as they're considered a drain on the system. 😂🤐🙄

It was a biological weapon designed in China with the aim of culling the aged population for economic reasons but it escaped by mistake.

I've only really heard the popular "biological weapon" theory. Changing the batteries in the birds is an absolute dazzler.

Not sure on the details, seems like a pretty indiscriminate weapon to use on your own population, although they might be putting them outside schools so the kids brains dont work properly and then they will believe any old crap you tell them

Ive been noticing more birds singing, maybe because im home instead of working in a city, plus warm so we have doors and windows open.

Another version of the biological control theory.
They were using a factory that used to make chemicals in Wuhan to make viruses instead of a proper lab and it escaped too soon. They needed a virus to kill off the old people because the one child policy in China made it difficult for people to work and look after the elderly.
It must be true, I heard it in a pub about 3 weeks ago!

I’m sitting in my living life in Sydney listening to the birds outside, plenty of them... so I don’t think that’s accurate. Or maybe it’s not time for the Southern Hemispheres bird population yet.
