My work phone got it.
It has nothing to do with vulnerability.

This will be a part of the last push at getting people to start using common sense before Army is brought in officially and not just doing what they are at the moment.

Icannotremembermyusername · 24/03/2020 12:51

No

ffswhatnext · 24/03/2020 12:52

Oh if your phone has a separate bit for junk texts, check there. THat's where mine was.

Nonnymum · 24/03/2020 12:53

I haven't had if yet my husband has though

cornishdreams1 · 24/03/2020 12:54

Yes I did, slightly freaked out, how did they get all of our numbers? Maybe it is a subtle reminder that they are able to exercise powers, a subliminal message to remind us all.

PleaseDontHateMee · 24/03/2020 12:55

Nope

Honeyroar · 24/03/2020 12:56

I got it on my work phone, which is ironic, as they’re saying we don’t have to follow guidelines when at work. But not on my own phone.

Hingeandbracket · 24/03/2020 12:56

No. But a pal in Norn Iron just got it.

insancerre · 24/03/2020 12:58

@cornishdreams1
I’m presuming the mobile operators have a list of every mobile number and that’s what they are using

Flaxmeadow · 24/03/2020 12:59

Yes received it at breakfast time.

As someone said up thread. The mobile companies are probably staggering the sending of messages so the system is not overwhelmed. I would think this will take a number of hours

Jux · 24/03/2020 12:59

DD and I on Tesco Mobile, not had a text yet (we were isolating anyway as vulnerable).
DH on Vodafone, not had one either. He's isolating

Jux · 24/03/2020 12:59

...he's isolating too, but is designated shopper.

Whattheduck · 24/03/2020 13:07

I’m on Tesco mobile not had one yet either

dontaskformedicaladviceonmn · 24/03/2020 13:08

Not yet

CatkinToadflax · 24/03/2020 13:15

The text referred to in the OP is for everyone apparently.

The text for the 1.5 million vulnerable people (which may come as a letter or a text - mine is a text) states that it's from the NHS Coronavirus service and specifically states that you're someone at risk of severe illness and must stay at home for a minimum of 12 weeks.

ButteryPuffin · 24/03/2020 13:16

No. And I'm on a main network.

Fifthtimelucky · 24/03/2020 13:18

Mine has just come through.

Funguy · 24/03/2020 13:18

bringincrazyback · 24/03/2020 13:31

BarbedBloom · 24/03/2020 13:32

Roomba · 24/03/2020 13:32
