02 here, no

PleaseStopCrying · 24/03/2020 12:27

Slight update for those who might be confused. My husband has now spoken to the GP and apparently both the OPs text and the one I posted are generic and going out to all mobile numbers.

The GP surgery said that the message that is being sent to the vulnerable groups the Government identified directly states you need to remain home for a minimum of 12 weeks.

She said the other 2 messages were just advisory messages but that several people had rang this morning to clarify as the one I posted implies you are in a vulnerable category.

turnandfacethenamechange · 24/03/2020 12:27

Yep. About the same time Qantas emailed to say our flights home are cancelled indefinitely!

OldLace · 24/03/2020 12:28

Vodafone. Just got standard text.

Can the Govt track peoples mobiles to see if they are straying too far from home ???

dementedpixie · 24/03/2020 12:29

I just received it, not left the house for 3 days (and previously to that it was only to go to and from my work as a key worker)! Must just be standard

Dahlietta · 24/03/2020 12:33

I did! But my year 11s, whom I was teaching remotely, received it a good half hour before I did.

MoonlightMistletoe · 24/03/2020 12:40

No - Virgin mobile

OldLace · 24/03/2020 12:40

(I just realised that sounds guilty - I'm sitting at home, btw!)

But I've a 70 yr old friend in London today planning on taking the tube to visit another similar aged friend with an underlying heart issue. Crazy.

THATS why I think we will get further 'lockdown' (and before 3 weeks)

Aragog · 24/03/2020 12:41

I haven't had an 'at risk' group one either which I believe I should be getting at some point.
