Watching her speech now, I wish Boris would take note. She’s being very clear re expectations of employers, hotels, school places being for the ‘most critical key workers’ etc. Would love to see BoJo do the same.

She was awesome! So clear.

The80sweregreat · 22/03/2020 17:04

I love Nicola!

Bornlazy · 22/03/2020 17:05

She was very good. She didn’t sugarcoat it and I agree Boris needs to do the same.

VivaLeBeaver · 22/03/2020 17:05

She’s got my vote, shame I’m not in Scotland!

Smellbellina · 22/03/2020 17:05

So do I now!

Independence looms methinks

Chocolatear · 22/03/2020 17:06

She was very impressive. Precise and forceful.

Smellbellina · 22/03/2020 17:06

I hope to goodness BJ takes a leaf out of her book

BarbedBloom · 22/03/2020 17:09

She was brilliant

Mixitupalot · 22/03/2020 17:10

She’s doing a fantastic job! No holding back there at all.

Jedstre · 22/03/2020 17:10

Agree, very impressive. Model leadership.

sestras · 22/03/2020 17:14

She's very clear on what to do and what not to do. Hopefully everyone will actually listen to what she's saying.

HowIrresponsible · 22/03/2020 17:21

She's a nightmare generally

StarbucksSmarterSister · 22/03/2020 17:22

She was bloody brilliant.

Kordelia · 22/03/2020 17:25

She's spoken very well so far during this crisis.

Other aspects of her time in charge are much less impressive.

HelgaHere1 · 22/03/2020 17:26

She's a bit late -caravan parks round here are prob half full with incomers - most of whom will be older, hospital doesn't stand a chance.

TaighNamGastaOrt · 22/03/2020 17:27

Theres a reason we voted for her! She's got balls. Unlike BoJo and his fwoppy attitude.

lentenwonder · 22/03/2020 17:28

Scotland would be doing so great if it was independent with the oil price tanking again. NS is a good politician, doesn’t mean she can magic an economic case for independence that stacks up.

lentenwonder · 22/03/2020 17:29

Clear message didn’t stop people here swamping parks and highlands either - people are idiots all over the UK it seems.

ellanwood · 22/03/2020 17:31

She is always SO clear. everything she says sounds considered and makes sense. Not heard this one, but I'd follow her advice over BJ's any day.

Smellbellina · 22/03/2020 17:36

BJ is skirting round the issue, as you’d expect.

HelgaHere1 · 22/03/2020 17:38

Maybe they should give locals priority over acute hospital beds Grin

dementedma · 22/03/2020 17:39

How would an independent Scotland be faring now, during this crisis I wonder when we all see the benefits of pulling together?

TheArchSorcererofContwaraburg · 22/03/2020 17:41

I agree, Helga!

LadyMadderRose · 22/03/2020 17:42

I'm far from an SNP supporter but I like NS and having her as our leader. She's always good at spelling it out and no bullshit. Also liked that she had a female CMO at her side contrasting with BoJo's all male team (much as I love the Whitty...)
