I want to start a boycott thread

I’d normally put this in AIBU but it’s a Coronavirus topic so thought I’d save admin the trouble of moving it.

AIBU unreasonable time start a boycott thread...listing all those companies who have behaved abominably to their employees during this time?

This is not the apocalypse, things will get better and at some point these companies are going to want our business and our money - and we get to choose where we spend it.

So, I’ll start with Britannia Hotels and their “admin error” that made their staff homeless:

Also, someone might have already started something similar to this, so if they have feel free to report and get this deleted.

60% of all viruses/diseases have come from animals, which is our fault due to agriculture. This one has come from China, but plenty are our (western world) doing.

1000% boycott virgin. I can't believe the audacity of that arsehole.

Disney have been amazing for me as a customer. Email, apologies, refund. "Looking after our customers and cast" type line.

Can people please provide reasons/links for the companies they are citing?

Billionaires/millionaires being stingy is disgusting, obviously.

But I think with the majority of companies the fault isn’t greed, but economic uncertainty and a government dragging its heels in sorting out actual, proper, real support for businesses and workers, not just vague catchphrases, loans and deferrals.

Something like a million people already lost their jobs apparently before the government started announcing any economic support measures (figure I saw on a bbc tv news report). I know 3 people who were let go who worked in entertainment/hospitality.

I’m mostly mad at the government tbh.
