Children die???

The WHO apparently said today that children have died of coronavirus (according to a BBC summary of the WHO press conference).

Until now, it's been said that there has been only one child death, sad though that obviously is, in the 10-19 years old range. Zero deaths in the 0-9 range.

So where did this statement come from? I have seen no figures to back it up - the figures from China, and Italy contradict it completely.

Where did this statement come from?
Has it been misquoted, in fact?
If it's true, what is actually going on?

It’s a small percentage of kids overall, but for those that of us who live in that world, it doesn’t feel like a small risk.

Absolutely. But the govenerment and who are only ever going to talk in board terms at press conferences

Hence why anyone with health issues all come under the 'vulnerable' umbrella.

But they should have said something like - only children with very serious illnesses are at risk from this virus. Go to this website for more info. Instead they gave false information that meant parents may have continued to expose their child to CV when really they should have been totally isolated.
