He obviously doesn't. No fever, no cold and flu symptoms not even a sore throat. If he has it, then we all must given what he's presenting:

-a little tired

  • General malaise
  • Bit out of sorts
  • minor chest pain (its one of the muscles between his ribs but i don't think he believes his gp on this)

He's already a hyperchondriac but this is really pissing me off. He's checking his temperature multiple times a day and won't stop reading the bloody news.

SEND HELP.

Send him a seductive picture to let him know what he will be missing for 2 weeks while he is self isolating..

Slingsanderrors · 18/03/2020 17:26

Oh Christ no Foregone90, he’d be even more ill!

HollowTalk · 18/03/2020 17:30

I'd invent a new symptom - itchy ears or something - and watch him scratch.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 18/03/2020 17:38

Is it genetic do you think? My 7 year old was sent home from school today with a temp (38.3) and a bright red ear, dr over the phone thinks it's to do with an ear infection he was treated for a couple of weeks ago, prescribed amoxicillin to be picked up at chemist. School, drs and 8 year olds school reminded us we are to self isolate- happy to oblige, but 7 year old has put on pyjamas and slippers and is using a 'poorly voice' and fake coughing and sneezing when I ask him how he is feeling. Now, it may be learned behaviour but I doubt it as 7 year old has global developmental delay and a few other issues (autism, adhd, epilepsy ) and at last assessment was working between 2 and a half years and 3. Its genetic isn't it- we are doomed. His dad is worse when poorly 😢😭

My DH has a headache and feels "weird" Hmm He keeps forcing a fake cough and saying "see! I told you!" He's been working from home while I'm out at work and the kids are at school, I think he's just had too much time with Google. He's sent me several different "symptom" lists today, none of which list "weird feeling" or "slight headache." He doesn't have a fever, sore throat or any of the other actual symptoms, but that's not stopping him from declaring himself too sick to do anything other than play video games and watch Top Gear Hmm

We'll all be home from Monday, if he carries on like this he won't make it past Wednesday. His case of the weird feeling will become critical.

Craiglang probably time to bury him under the patio. A few of us have done it.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 18/03/2020 21:41

Self-isolation under the patio?

BWHAHAHAHA

It’s the new NHS advice I believe, to save the sanity of women!
