AIBU to cancel my cleaner

Because of coronavirus. She cleans weekly for us.
If she is sick we will be too.
I feel bad doing it to her and we need cleaners services badly.
And yet, if she is ill we will be too.

Are you planning to self isolate and not go outside? If not YABU.

I don't understand why you would? Unless you're staying home and avoiding contact with everyone else in the world too?

Are you alone in the house? Not ever going out and no one ever coming in? Why do you think this one person is going to catch it?

I'm a cleaner and I was chatting to a client about this. I said given that a) neither of us have symptoms and b) I am cleaning we should be ok.
I have changed my products to a bleach based one (I'm cautious not to spray the soft furnishings) and I am paying particular attention to door handles etc in peoples houses.
Don't cancel her. We have to carry on as normal unless told otherwise.

I am pretty confident we will soon be told to stay home (work in academia and there will be no next term).

It is spread from close contact not from environments so I don't think cancelling her would be any use at all

If you’re thinking of cancelling because you’re feeling very anxious, I would ask her not to come but I’d still pay her- she shouldn’t lose out because of it.

No, of course you shouldn't sack your cleaner. Are you still going to work? Are you still going out socialising? Are you still nipping to the shops?

Will you need her to do your cleaning if you are at home? Is there a disability you haven't told us about which means you won't be able to do it yourself?

Maybe she won't want to clean for you in case you give her something?

However say you are told to work from home and schools are closed.
