Thankfully he was arrested for his sign. Clear incitment. The Manchester attack on a synagogue and Bondi beach attack and still some of the pro pal marches want to 'globalise the intifada'.

You'd have to ask them what changed. I couldn't possibly comment.

So what has an alleged article from almost 24 years ago in an Israeli newspaper ago by a man who isn't even alive got to do with people chanting Globalise the Intifada in the UK a couple of days ago?

I was talking about the man who wrote the article, according to you. Someone wrote an article that you say exists but can't find almost a quarter of a century ago. So what? It has fuck all to do with this thread.

Ilan Pape is alive yes. Good for him. He has an opinion on Israel, mostly that it shouldn't exist. So do lots of people. But his opinions are no more relevant to what happened at the weekend than anyone elses.

BTW, do you happen to know what chapter of his book he talks at length about this ancient article? Since it's apparently so relevant to Peter Tatchell being arrested and everything.

Why do people propose a one-state solution when it's clear that neither Israelis nor Palestinians want one? What happened to self-determination? I love the idea that you'd just give Hamas free reign in Israel and hope they didn't go around killing people because they would be 'happier'. I'm sure we'd all be delighted with that plan if we lived in Israel.

On the topic of the thread, I have come to the conclusion that Peter Tatchell and all his ilk are just stupid. I usually try to be charitable but I can't think of a charitable interpretation of their behaviour.

Agreed. Sounds so reasonable but just another way of taking away the self determination, and ultimately the survival, of the Jews.

He has said multiple times that there should be no Jewish state, and instead what is now Israel should instead be part of a bigger Palestine.
