Because they are just playing at a ceasefire. They are using different tactics for genocide instead of shooting at them

BelleHathor · 09/12/2025 21:44

It's genocide by a 1000 cuts. The other way "made them look bad".

Pro Israeli billionaires are currently consolidating/attempting to take over social and old media platforms to help rehabilitate Israel's image and all the while the killing continues.

thingsarelookingupfornigel · 10/12/2025 11:57

Al Jazeera:

Since the ceasefire took effect in October, Israel has still not allowed the Strip to receive timber, tent poles or tools because it considers them “controlled dual-purpose” items.

It's well known you can fight 2000lb bombs with tent poles don't you know.

The current worry is lack of shelter as winter is here. They are about to be hit by Storm Byron which has caused extensive flooding and even loss of life across Greece and Cyprus. Those poor people do not have adequate shelter, thanks to Israel’s complete destruction of the infrastructure.

“Persistent bureaucracy prevented us from bringing in adequate dwellings for people in Gaza,” McIntosh said. “The Israelis have not permitted tents to enter Gaza for many months. The only thing they’re allowing at this point is some tarpaulin, which isn’t going to do much for people who need proper shelter.”

thingsarelookingupfornigel · 10/12/2025 17:12

Make life unbearable enough and make them leave allegedly “voluntarily”?
Looks like it.

That is the plan to be fair. Call it voluntary migration or Trump's plan or anything else but ultimately the goal is the area free of Palestinians.

thingsarelookingupfornigel · 10/12/2025 20:56

Yep. But look away. It isn’t really happening. Mysterious planes landing in South Africa. A one way crossing with no right to return. A Gaza strip that is no longer inhabitable? But hey ho.

Dagda · 10/12/2025 22:34

Because they want large numbers of Palestinians to die and others to leave “voluntarily”

There is no other explanation.

OpheliaIsntMad · 10/12/2025 23:22

The Israeli government is extremist and deserves all the criticism it gets . The majority of Israeli people are probably very conflicted. They probably want security for themselves and also want justice for innocent Palestinians.
The real villains here are Hamas - they played into the hands of the most extreme right wing of Israelis by giving them the excuse they needed.
Hamas ( and their paymasters) are not interested in the well being of Palestinians. They are using this as a proxy conflict to try to destroy Israel.

I’m also concerned by the report that Hamas hid food supplies in order to force a humanitarian crisis amongst their people.

Did you link to the wrong thing? From what you have linked to it appears to be a claim by one individual that has not been independently verified, accompanied by a photo of a few packages of baby food, I don't see a report. Can you link to the report that you read directly instead of a post on X? Or do you mean that you are concerned by one person reporting that this has happened rather than some kind of report after thorough investigation has been done?

If you are concerned about looting this is an interesting article about an investigation done by Sky's Data and Forensics unit over a period of months.

Guns, cash and American aid: Investigation reveals Israel's support for Gaza militia

The former looting gang is living in luxury thanks to aid from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation and smuggled cash, cars and cigarettes.

Because they are war criminals who can get away with it it seems….

OpheliaIsntMad · 10/12/2025 23:55

Why is Israel still restricting aid? The Israeli government is allowing innocent people to die. It’s horrific.

But there are other questions and other horrific answers.

It’s not just the Israeli government who don’t care about innocent Palestinian death.

Why did Hamas hide baby milk given as food aid from starving Palestinians ? https://antisemitism.org/hamas-accused-of-hoarding-baby-formula-to-starve-gaza-and-push-anti-israel-narrative
Why did Hamas supporters attack , murder, torture and rape the most left wing and moderate Israelis? The Israelis who attend desert festivals or live in Kibbutz are not the same extremist Israeli settlers who attack innocent Palestinian olive farmers? Why did the Hamas commanders in Quatar or Iran want to murder the Israelis most likely to sympathise with Palestinians?

Hamas accused of hoarding baby formula to starve Gaza and push anti-Israel narrative - Campaign Against Antisemitism

There are other malign forces are using this conflict for their own benefit. It’s kind of sad to see how easily people are manipulated.
And how sure they are that their response is virtuous.

BelleHathor · 11/12/2025 07:25

Here is Motasem A Dalloul actually in Gaza (as opposed to being from Gaza like Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib who left Gaza aged 15 and obtained American citizenship and works with the Atlantic Council ) responding to Israeli UN rep Danny Danon (famous for calling Francesca Albanese a witch):

"I didn’t comment when it was for the pro Israeli occupation propagandists, but now it’s Danny Danon, the craziest Israeli official..

There are two issues related to these claims:
1- Israeli propagandists claimed this baby formula had been stored inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.. This hospital was stormed and destroyed several times by the IOF during the genocide.. How couldn’t they find it?!

2- Meanwhile, the reality it was existed in a commercial warehouse which was kept under Israeli control, and after Israeli withdrawal the owner found it turned rotten and disposed it instead of selling it to children whom he loves.

Israeli occupation is the reason for all suffering inflicted on the Palestinians.."

https://x.com/AbujomaaGaza/status/1998982007523565579?s=20

(Note: Al Jazeera journalist, so biased, sponsered by Qatar and all the familiar tropes used to discredit)

The only manipulated people are the ones who repeatedly win the "fell for it again" award after IDF fabrications are exposed, again and again and again and again and again.....

Agreed. Its bizarre, the relentless, simplistic Israel bashing without the slightest attempt to understand the complexity of the situation and no culpability for anyone else.

Again with the link 'appears to show', 'claims'? Why do you keep posting this unverified claim as of it is some kind of fact? Even the article you linked to isn't saying that this is true.

Israel are breaking the terms of the ceasefire deal. Israel are not upholding their responsibilities as occupiers. Those are facts. People can call it 'Israel bashing' if they like but it doesn't make it any less true. They are purposefully withholding aid from traumatised, homeless people and that should be spoken about. I would question the motives of anyone who doesn't think it should be and anyone who can't find it within themselves to condemn those actions. Imagine thinking that it's 'bizarre' for people to speak about aid being purposefully withheld from vulnerable, homeless children? What a world.

Who said it was bizarre to speak about aid being purposefully witheld? Nobody. Ophelia has criticised the Israeli government several times in this conversation. But you are only focussing in Israel with absolutely no culpability for anyone else.

Foreign ministers of 10 nations expressed “serious concerns” about a “renewed deterioration of the humanitarian situation” in the devastated territory, saying the situation was “catastrophic”.
“As winter draws in, civilians in Gaza are facing appalling conditions with heavy rainfall and temperatures dropping,” the ministers of Britain, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland said in a joint statement released by the UK’s Foreign Office on Tuesday.
The statement added that “1.3 million people still require urgent shelter support. More than half of health facilities are only partially functional and face shortages of essential medical equipment and supplies. The total collapse of sanitation infrastructure has left 740,000 people vulnerable to toxic flooding”

deliberate and unforgivable

For the same reason Hamas has not given up their arms. Because neither side trust each other.

Completely unforgivable. Unfortunately the messianic fervour appears to have gripped certain members of the Israeli Government.

In 2024 Netanyahu said "Believe me, I Haven’t Forgotten What the Rebbe Told Me!” https://anash.org/believe-me-i-havent-forgotten-what-the-rebbe-told-me/

This is a reference to a meeting in 1985 where:

"Benjamin Netanyahu was told by a powerful Jewish religious figure that he would be Israel’s last leader and hand the sceptre to the Messiah. How does this so-called prophecy affect Netanyahu’s political calculations? And who is the mysterious religious figure, honoured by successive US presidents , simply known as The Rebbe?"

Because there is no PR person or Company that would advise the Israeli Government to behave the way that they have over the last 2 years+.

“Believe me, I Haven’t Forgotten What the Rebbe Told Me!”

After the historic UN speech, and the successful elimination of Nasrallah, Bibi Netanyahu met with Jewish leaders, and told Lubavitchers how he remembered the Rebbe's words.
