And yes, Muslim Arab israeli citizens have equal rights to everyone else in israel and also have the freedom to practice their religion there, as do Christians and any other religion. Not to a significant extent, they didn't. Up until the end of the 19th century arab and jew lived pretty well together across the middle east. Certainly in the 1920s, in Palestine, there was the start of arab mobs attacking jewish homes and jewish mobs attacking arab homes, but prior to the influx of Jews from Europe, life for Jews in arab lands was far, far better than life elsewhere. .

Unfortunately to most average people, Hamas, who carried out the horror of October 7th, represents the Palestinian people. So "Free Palestine" means Hamas, who are dedicated to the eradication of Jews. Most people aren't going to be giving much more deep thought than that. You can see why most people find it scary.

Perhaps if your forebears always taught you to keep cash under the bed, your passport up to date, and a plan of how to escape, maybe then you'd understand what one jewish state in the world is important.

People's memories are painfully short.

But many of us have ancestors who have suffered under the boot of others. Many ethnic groups and races have experienced horrific injustices. It doesn’t give anyone a god given right to their own state. I’m not saying that Isreal shouldn’t exist. Isreal should exists because it does already exists and most of the people who live their were born their and they have as much right to be there as anyone else. But it has nothing to do with their religion. I don’t believe they or anyone else has divine rights to certain land.

Discriminating laws like the nation state law show that Arab Muslims do not have the same rights either. A country should be for the good of all of its citizens.

Palestinians too have a right to their own state. Coexistence is the only answer really.

Jews only have israel. The Holocaust would not have happened if Jews had their own state - just as all other religions do.

Christians, Muslims have many countries that are theirs. Why are you deflecting?

It is clear to me you have never visited Israel. The apartheid you speak of does not exist. Signs are written in Hebrew, Arabic and English. There are Arab Muslim doctors, lawyers, judiciary working alongside Jews. The Arab Muslims have equal access to healthcare, education, working rights. Also, israel holds two Pride celebrations each year.

I have indeed never been to Israel, but that's not what I meant by apartheid. I said the Palestinians are kept in a state of apartheid - they are deprived of their own statehood and autonomy, yet kept apart from the state of their occupiers and not given equality within that state either.

So it's only shouted at jews, except when it isn't.
