This is a brilliant article.

This will be taught in schools one day and our grandkids will ask us but what did you do when you knew this was happening?

What did you do during the genocide in Gaza? | Arwa Mahdawi

When future generations read about Gaza with horror and wonder how we allowed a livestreamed genocide to happen, what will you say?

It was the IDF who killed Hind Rajab, the red crescent medics, the list goes on. As well as sexually abuse Palestinians.

No conclusive evidence that the IDF killed Hind Rajab at all.

Defies all logic and sense but great anti Israel propaganda. They’ve even made a foundation out of it to publicly identify soldiers to put them in danger and harass them legally. They have even boasted of hacking into soldiers private social media.

Yeah I believe Israel.

Unmasking the Hind Rajab Foundation

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) claims to be a legal advocacy group targeting the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) for alleged war crimes. However, it is deeply connected to extremist ideologies and terrorist organisations, revealing its troubling true mot...

Like the Bibas family , Hind Rajab was an innocent victim .
I hope the truth about her death is discovered and anyone found responsible for faces proper justice.

From what have you construed that I think that poor little girl was not an innocent victim?

The usual, and very tiresome making for a lazy debate, attempt to put words in people’s mouths which are not there.

There is no doubt who murdered the Bibas babies and their mother is there, so I’m unsure as why you referenced them in this context?

Eatcakeplease · 28/05/2025 14:20

All evidence points towards the IDF murdering her and then lying about it and being caught out in their lies.

Kind of like murdering the medics and burying them and their ambulances then lying and getting caught out.

Eatcakeplease · 28/05/2025 14:21

Eatcakeplease · 28/05/2025 14:23

They lie, and lie, and lie, and get caught, then lie, then lie, then get caught and so on and so forth.

Israel claimed that there were not any troops present in the neighborhood and denied carrying out the attack. However, this was refuted by The Washington Post and Sky News's investigations relying on satellite imagery and visual evidence, which concluded that a number of Israeli tanks were indeed present and one had likely fired 335 rounds on the car that Rajab and her family had been in, with tank operators being able to see that the car had civilians including children in it.[8] The Forensic Architecture investigation also concluded that an Israeli tank had also likely attacked the ambulance that came for Rajab.[8]

No - I wasn’t suggesting that. I didn’t put words into your mouth. I just feel it’s wrong to bring her name into this discussion in this way.
It seems disrespectful. We know she died. It looks as if the IDF were responsible. Speculation on this one terrible case is fruitless and adds to anger .
I mentioned the Bibas family because for me these two events symbolise the way both sides are suffering and the horror of the whole thing.

I did not bring Hind’s name into this discussion. Someone else did unthread. I was responding to that.

Now I’m being accused of something else I didn’t do.

Kind of seems like a witch hunt against anyone who has a different view other than the narrative that’s been allowed to fester on here.

So are you saying that no one can question the alleged circumstances, who has been blamed for, or try to get to the TRUTH of that little girl’s death (yes, she absolutely deserves justice!) because it adds to anger that it might not have actually been the IDF?

Wow!

And who repressed the gazans for the last 20 odd years - who murdered those that objected? Who radicalised a whole generation to perpetrate and celebrate the 7 October attacks? Who declared war without investing in ANY i frastructure to protect civilians? And in fact embedded their military equipment and personnel in civilian infastructure? Who uses child soldiers/messengers? Its easy to pick out individual tragedies but it is manipulative. It doesnt help to understand the bigger picture.

Who has been murdering and displacing Palestinians before Hamas even existed?

EasyTouch · 22/05/2025 23:20

I did not adjust the meaning of the word "genocide" in order to make myself feel better about the.fact that losing a war or winning one has never been pretty.

I also did not act like Gazans.were the only sufferers of losing a war in that time period.

What?!

MerlinsBeard1 · 30/05/2025 14:14

Well it isn't a genocide for a start. Israel's intentions are not to racially cleanse Palestine, it is to to eradicate the terrorist organisation in charge. You know the nutters who raped and murdered civilians and put babies in ovens.

The definition of genocide:
'the deliberate and systematic killing or persecution of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.'

So you see the October 7th attack was indeed genocide, the retaliation from Israel is not.

Have you not read or heard what Israeli leaders have been saying?

Obviously not. Talk about deluded..

Just watched the opening scenes of the American troops arriving at Omaha beach in Saving Private Ryan. The sheer number of young men killed before even reaching the beach. No social media then, just survivors stories reenactment in film. Bloody awful. Men and wars.

The Hind Rajab foundation are doing great work, I applaud them for their efforts in holding the genocide perpetrators to account.

"Leading this campaign are Dyab Abou Jahjah and Karim Hassoun, individuals with a documented history of supporting terrorism and antisemitism.

Dyab Abou Jahjah, a founder and chairman of the HRF, is a former Hezbollah activist and has openly praised figures connected to terrorist organisations. He even celebrated the September 11 attacks as “sweet revenge”. During the Iron Swords War, he actively demonstrated his support for both Hamas and Hezbollah.
Karim Hassoun, co-founder and secretary of the HRF, has praised Samir Kuntar, who carried out the brutal murder of the Haran family in Nahariya in 1979. Hassoun has also publicly defended Hamas, condemning the group for not taking more hostages during the recent conflict."

A little girls name being used by 2 individuals who have praised terrorist acts or been terrorist activists.

The concerning outcome is individuals who really want to help the people of Gaza, will donate their money to an organisation set up by individuals who support terrorism! More terrorism support means ultimately more innocents dying.

I would urge people to check where their money is going and what it is funding!

Do you applaud their support for terrorists too? The wish that more hostages were taken.

Hopefully they are being investigated so that they cannot cynically use the name of a child to further hate filled aims. Otherwise more children will die.

The whole thing stinks. They’ve used this as an excuse to try to bring legal action onto soldiers and also to publish private information about them, hacking into their private social media, obviously to invite ‘revenge’ attacks.

I never believed the IDF killed that little girl after reading some investigative threads on it, and seeing video of the scene and vehicle afterwards, never made logical sense that they would attack a lone child in a car full of dead people and using up all those bullets (these are highly trained soldiers). They have never admitted it which they usually do.

How anyone would refuse to believe the Palestinians set these things up themselves for massive propaganda wins (which are their only real weapon!) after what they were clearly capable of doing on Oct 7th and their leaders insisting they don’t care how many die etc. is baffling. Although actually it’s not.

Ohh give over. Next you'll be accusing Palestinians of displacing and starving themselves.

An actor looking sad and shocked and repeating a lie really isn't a particularly robust argument, is it?
