Conflict in the Middle East

To think someone has got to stop the mass killings in Gaza

We are back to hundreds of Gazans being killed each day after the so called ceasefire and over 50,000 now slaughtered, mostly women and children.
The bombing of hospitals, schools and 'safe zones' not being enough, they are now picking off paramedics. How much depravity is the world going to tolerate?

AIBU to suggest that the world leaders complicit in Netanyahu's genocide should all stand before the Hague?

Just even the last 4 videos posted in the last hour. Tell me that’s Israel defence and Hamas propaganda.

God love this precious innocent children. May we never know their terror and suffering.

Read again.

Yeah I've read it plenty thanks.

Soe answer is yes, you are saying that. How depressing.

Cris1976 · 06/04/2025 22:56

The lack of humanity shown by some here astounds me…. And coming from other mothers makes it far worse.

For them nothing justifies October 7th, yet October 7th justifies absolutely everything. It seems that you are only a terrorist entity if you don’t have an airforce and overwhelming firepower.

I pray for all the young Palestinian children spending another night in no-man’s land.

I asked because I was hoping you could clarify your assertion that none of the hostages were killed by Hamas. But apparently you can't.

That’s not the question you asked, now was it? Read your own question again

No. But I agree - deeply sad.

You're saying that Shani Louk is the only person Hamas killed? And then only possibly?

This is so bad.

Despite your vile and inarticulate language to me, a person you have just called a dick and a conspiracy theorist, all because I refuse to answer a question you’ve purposefully misrep’ed in a way that is very harmful to Israelis, I will answer this because I care about the hostages and for the benefit of anyone else who will have read your purposefully misrep’ed question.
Your behaviour is incredibly poor. You’re not welcome to engage with me again.

Possibly, Shani may have died after she was taken hostage - she was reported to have been on life support in a Gaza hospital and died later in Gaza as a result of her injuries at hands of Hamas. Some have also said she was already dead.

Of the hostages kidnapped and killed, the only evidence I have seen so far are two articles today in this thread where the IDF claim Hamas had killed 6 people. I have also said I’m in no position to doubt that. But I have also seen it claimed it was friendly fire. Which is the info I had prior to those posts. I’ve seen footage of the IDF killing other Israeli hostages who had escaped. I saw reports just a month after the kidnapping that the Bibas family had been killed in a shelling attack and the same goes other hostages, dying in shelling attacks. Except for Mr Lifschitz who died of a heart condition - no doubt made worse from the stress of being kidnapped and living under shelled attack.

Of the hostages that have been killed, if there is evidence of whether they were killed by Hamas or IDF, I’ll read it/accept it, if reputable. But one can’t take either the IDF’s or Hamas’s word for it. They’re both lie.

But I do ask myself why Hamas would kill some and keep some alive, when their alive state is much more valuable for negotiation. The hostages know.

Anyway, don’t contact me again.

Bit rich considering you previously called that poster an idiot...

Gansy · 07/04/2025 00:30

No. I said they asked an idiotic question, because it was just that - intent on misleading.

ThisNattyTurtle · 07/04/2025 07:44

Rachel Corrie. Young American idealist who was crushed to death by an Israeli army bulldozer in Gaza, BEFORE Hamas, as she tried to protect Palestinian homes.
God rest her soul and those of Tom Hurndall and Ian Miller, among others.

Mohamed is on record for her many anti Israel comments. Israel have every right to deny entry as do we.

If they were on an official 'parliamentarian' visit they'd have informed authorities, they didn't. Tough.

'Possibly, Shani may have died after she was taken hostage - she was reported to have been on life support in a Gaza hospital'

You seriously think that after parading her broken, bloodied body around with everyone spitting on her they suddenly had an attack of conscience and dashed to A&E? No chance. Don't believe everything hamas say.

Exactly - they weren’t neutral or unbiased so no wonder Israel didn’t want them. Only been elected MPs since July 2024 and Mohamed has already made several anti Israel comments in Parliament.

I have avoided this board for some time and I see that nothing has changed.

Surely everybody can see that there is evil on both sides. Hamas is disgusting for what they did on October 7 and their continued violence and lack of concern for their own people or Israelis. And Netanyahu and his cronies are also evil murderers who clearly
want to obliterate Palestinians from Gaza.

And the reason there are so many threads about this and not other international mass murders happening right now, is that western governments are supporting Netanyahu and his appalling campaign. As someone from a western country, that makes me more angry than I can express in words. Not in my name.

Like most decent people, my heart is with everybody who has lost a loved one, and everyone who is living in terror right now and/or missing a loved one. Israeli or Palestinian. No human life is more important than another. I hope every innocent hostage on both sides get released and can begin to heal.

I am not a politician and don’t have the answers. But there is definitely a more powerful aggressor in this game and it is not the Palestinians.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 07/04/2025 08:27

@GetItNowOrNever Well said.

I've avoided the boards too, and newspapers because the helpless feelings are overwhelming.

Remembering the victims of October the 7th, while watching in horror as the retaliation is relentless too.

Thegreyhound · 07/04/2025 08:47

A number of IDF soldiers are now talking openly about the fact that they were ordered to target civilians and destroy civilian infrastructure.
I suppose there will nevertheless still be people here aiming to deny, minimise or justify it all

Jujujudo · 07/04/2025 08:47

Gosh, a lot of experts here on the ground with strong evidence of actual facts. It’s not like you’re all letting your bias and emotions get in the way. I mean, let’s suddenly believe every thing we read! Let’s not question anything because it suits our agenda! Let’s automatically vilify an entire country because the media tells us we are justified!! Let’s single out the war in Gaza/Israel and home in on unverified details, while ignoring the ethnic cleansing in Syria, mass killings in Pakistan, Putin’s barbaric unjustified mss murder in Ukraine, subjugation of women in Afghanistan, uncontrolled infanticide in China! Who are any of you to use inflammatory language like genocide (a word created to describe what happened in the holocaust)? What actual facts do any of you have? How much true historical information do you have? How easy has it become for all you vehemently anti racist, humanitarian and loving people to become outwardly racist towards Israel and Jews?
You want to talk facts?? Ask an Israel citizen, ask a Druze family living on the Syrian Israel border. Ask a Gazan. Go on? I’ll help you get in touch with any of these people.
Im utterly horrified at some of the things written here. When has it become acceptable to vilify and demonise an entire nation based on propaganda and rhetoric?
Oh how easy it is to be hateful when it’s the Jews eh?
