So to be clear, do you think this must be untrue?
Hacker group Anonymous gives "Israel" a 48-hour ultimatum to stop its war on Gaza, or else it will publish confidential information and sensitive files in its possession of the Security Ministry.

This, and the hope it might be effective on bringing about a ceasefire, was the reason for the OP, not any question about whether or not Hamas launched a justified revolt against colonialism.

Reuters reported on Anonymous making a similar threat last April, so I don’t think Al-Maydeen is necessarily not to be believed.

A group called Anonymous for Justice claimed responsibility for the breach, which it said included the retrieval of nearly 300 gigabytes of data. On its website, the group said it would continue attacking Israel "until the war in Gaza stops". (Excerpt from:)

Have you considered the post might have been deleted for another reason and not for that reason you think ? You can ask mn directly but unless you’re the same poster I believe they won’t tell you the reason (though I might be incorrect on that and they might tell you why it was deleted)

Sorry @ForMellowHam I might have misunderstood. I thought you were meaning the OP link to the Al-Mayadeen report about Anonymous was something to ignore because Al Maydeen supports Hamas. (I was trying to say that the report could still be real.)

Anyway, I was just making an observation. That posting links to pro-terrorist websites is apparently acceptable.
Did you report it? Doubt mumsnet are aware unless it's reported, than see if they find it acceptable or not.

I seriously doubt mumsnet would delete a post pointing out a website was a Hamas supporting so there must have been something else written in that post to have it deleted
