Can someone explain this disturbing phenomenon?

‘The grander scale of what’s going on there’, well yes, Gaza is on the brink of famine because food’s not being allowed in, but that doesn’t mean those pictures aren’t disturbing.

Yes the same Palestinian women and civilians who laughed and cheered in the streets in Gaza when Hamas returned with raped and brutalised Jewish women in the backs of trucks.
After what Hamas did to women on October 7th you cant be surprised that the IDF aren't particularly inclined to treat Palestinian women with any respect.
There aren't actually any Palestinian women in any of those photos so looting their underwear is pretty irrelevant in the grander scale of what's going on there

Really? No one should be surprised that an army, the most moral in the world allegedly, not only raid houses, but steal underwear, put it on, pretend to perform sex acts on each other and photograph it and put it on social media? I'm shocked at both the level of complete minimising and victim blaming. Should we not be surprised at the dying dc who are starving to death either?

Yeah, but it’s not Hamas underwear, is it? It belongs to innocent Palestinian women who Israel has decided are going to pay the price, along with all the other innocent civilians.

And the women who were stripped, raped, shot and stabbed in the vagina, murdered, then paraded through the streets naked on the back of trucks, to the delight of baying Palestinian mobs were just innocent Israeli women, whom Hamas had decided should pay a price. The babies who had their throats cut were just innocent babies whom Hamas decided should pay a price.

Given the choice, would you rather be one of the Israeli woman raped and killed by Hamas on 7/10, or one of the Palestinian women having her underwear nicked by the IDF?

Okay, so would you rather be a Palestinian woman who has been arrested illegally, a Palestinian woman who is displaced and very scared and stressed, but alive and unraped? Or if you had to be dead would you rather be dead because of mortar fire or dead because you were gang raped, stabbed in the vagina for a laugh, then shot?

You are the one wanting to make a really big thing about Israeli soldiers dehumanising and humiliating Palestinian women by posing in their underwear, presumably looted from their homes when they were not present, so it's odd that you are reluctant to be drawn on the dehumanisation and humiliation of Israeli women who were raped and murdered by Hamas.
You've had an awful lot to say on the behaviour of the IDF over the last couple of months and yet I can find nothing, not one single comment from you condemning the utterly, utterly barbaric Hamas attacks on innocent people including women and children that started all this. In hundereds of posts from you on this war I can't find a single post where you've even referenced what happened on 7/10, let alone condemned it. Yet you get highly exercised by every single thing that has happened since, including pictures of Israeli soldiers in stolen bras.

This is disinformation. Please stop spreading it in order to validate what Israel are doing in Gaza. No babies had their throats cut by Hamas. 1 baby was unfortunately killed on 7/10 and that baby was shot.

Well the IDF is carrying out noteworthy war crimes on a daily basis. So I comment as they commit them. Back in October I did post about what happened in Israel but due to outrageous harassment I had to change my username so you won't find those posts. I also almost never post in threads that are pro Israeli in nature because I was told in no uncertain terms not to and was hounded out.

But thanks for the deep dive into my posting history. That's totally normal behaviour.

Understatement? Just a bit. You also forgot a Palestinian woman who, more than likely, watched her loved ones die, through bombardment, starvation, disease or because her cancer/ diabetes couldn't be treated; take your pick, please.

Given the choice I would not want to see either of those things happen to any woman anywhere. I can have compassion for both, I can be angry for both, I want justice for both. I certainly would not want one person's pain and suffering be used to beat another with and I doubt the Israeli women who were brutally raped and assaulted would want that either. The IDF are in Gaza to defend Israel (or so we're told) they are not there to seek revenge. I do not understand the mentality of you and other posters who have this eye for eye tooth for a tooth mentality.

You do realize that people who claim that Hamas are resistance fighters use this same logic? That they can't get worked up about 7/10 as Israel has been carrying out atrocities since 1948.... Or maybe it only works one way?

That is absolutely not true, many babies were killed. One was even ripped from their mother's stomach and shot in front of her. Hamas filmed these things, and there are witnesses, and physical evidence. Of course someone will say the Israeli's made it up next. You'll just say what you want so no matter.

If Hamas filmed this , then why has un said this week that the exact example you’re posting hasn’t been proven to be right ? And the Israeli person that said this has been proven to lie about several things of 710?
