Double standards (Ukraine flag, Israel flag and Palestine flag)

Has anyone noticed the double standards regarding these flags. The first two are seen as solidarity and approved. But anyone with a Palestine flag is seen as a Hamas supporter and making life uncomfortable for Jews. People have been removing Palestinian flags because it makes them feel uncomfortable but if you did the same with Israel flags you would be called anti semitic.

I have seen people say anyone who have Palestinian flags should be deported because they are terrorists which is very racist.

The media seem to always show Palestinian supporters as thugs and evil people.

I have seen some things happen in the world which the media in UK rarely showed or gave a lot of airtime. Some people who claim to be Pro Palestinian and do racist things at protests are given so much air time e.g. you will hear about it forever "these are hate marches Pro Palestinians are all racists" etc..

But they rarely talk about Palestinians getting targeted:

It just seems like anyone who opposes the Israeli government is a racist and anyone who wants an end to the occupation in Palestine and better solution is also racist.

I've come to the point that I think Palestinians should move out of the West Bank and Gaza, they can't live like this, let Israel have every single blood soaked inch. The rest of the world should take the Palestinians in. Palestinians should accept they’ve lost their land and move on, don’t continue to spread this conflict down the generations forever.

Did I say raping and murder is right? I am saying both need to be condemned taking of hostages and what the IDF and settlers do on a day to day basis to Palestinians.

Yeah nothing like ethnic cleansing. They should move out of their own lands. There is no one state or two state solution being proposed. Israel keep rejecting it. Let Palestinians have their own state and control.

2 state solution wont work because Hamas want to destroy Israel and kill all Jews!

Look at what is happening: only one place is being destroyed and that is Palestine by Israel.

i didn’t say it wasn’t being destroyed - but I do think Hamas is a terrorist group that hates Jews and thus cannot be negotiated with. I believe Netanyahu has gone way too far but the state of Israel would get round a negotiating table with a legitimate “government”/ party.

OP, I really would be curious to see all these Israeli flags you're talking about. I've seen loads of Palestinian flags in London boroughs and no Israeli ones. Which areas are you referring to? Did you take photos of all of these Israeli flags?

Agreed about Netanyahu, however he and others in power have made it crystal clear what their aim is. I really cannot see them sitting around and negotiating with anybody relating to this.

Numerous officials have made some very concerning statements this past week. I cannot see them stopping what they are doing particularly given their previous pattern of behaviour.

That is the go-to line to try to shut someone down. Using it in the context that you are actually causes more damage. It should be reserved for actual, true cases of that not simply when you happen to not agree with what someone is saying. It risks minimising the very thing that you are trying to be on top of.

It is the usual attempt at silencing someone. It is wrong. Labelling everyone who speaks up/has a different opinion as that is damaging

Exactly some people love to shut down concerns I wouldn’t say you’ve raised concerns. You clearly have a side- most people see both sides and understand the complexity. Your inability to show that is probably why you’ve been labelled.

I very rarely see the Israeli flag anywhere in London, but I don't often have reason to go to areas with a high Jewish demographic so don't know if they're commonly flown there. The areas I am in more frequently Tower Hamlets and various South London boroughs there are a preponderance of Palestinian flags flown in solidarity and much more flyering and protesting for the Palestinian cause.

I suppose it's possible that I just don't notice Israeli flags, but you can't help but notice the Palestinian ones

Netanyahu and co specifically supported Hamas over the years for this exact reason. So that they can claim to have no legitimate authority to negotiate with about Gaza.

Palestine is being destroyed by Hamas, not Israel. They dismantled the infrastructure left behind by Israel in Gaza and dug up their own water pipes to make pipe bombs. They hoard aid and resources. The highest up at Hamas are billionaires due to stolen aid funds.

During 7 Oct, they broke into homes, tied babies and parents together with zip wire, and set them on fire.

They gang raped an 8-year-old girl until her pelvis dislocated.

For all those defending Hamas, cheer for ISIS while you're at it.
