Ordinary folks worldwide now alert and protesting in whatever way they can is brilliant to see.

So many politicians, particularly those at Westminster, have set themselves up to be on the very wrong side when the history books are written. Shameful absence of humanity by the Tories and Labour both.

Because he's acting like people have a problem with Jewish people, when what they actually have a problem with is genocide. It's disingenuous.

There's no "acting" - he was specifically talking about the eye-watering increase of actual antisemitic incidents in this country (which you've just denied). Sorry if that disappoints you, would you rather British Jews just shut up about it? If you don't have a problem with Jews, then why should speaking up about antisemitism be a problem for you? Would you expect other ethnic groups to similarly 'just be quiet' about it?

Fry also made reference to the loss of life on both sides.

He's also been very outspoken in the past about Israeli aggression in the West Bank and Gaza.

So I put it to you, m'lud, that you're the one being disingenuous.
