The images coming through on news channels are horrific.

Reports of separate attacks, one of ambulances in front of the hospital and another of a convoy of ambulances on the road to Rafah that was targeted 3 seperate times and forced to turn back north.

Not reported by any Hamas institution but by a doctor being interviewed

There is footage of Isreali army vehicles preventing ambulances from moving amongst gaza too.

NotTerfNorCis · 03/11/2023 16:59

Why would they need crisis actors when thousands are dying for real?

SomeCatFromJapan · 03/11/2023 17:00

@HorryHornblower my god so it is! It's the same chap that crops up in a variety of roles. Let me see if I can find a source.

Parkingt111 · 03/11/2023 17:00

The vicinity of Al Quds and the Indonesian hospital both were struck today

Not just a doctor - also independent gazawi citizen journalists. The pictures, descriptions, and videos are all over the place!

(If you have not yet: do NOT go to look them up - you will be traumatised and it will not help anyone! As someone who has already had therapy for war trauma: the "random minor detail" that just made me break me down sobbing among all the horror was that of a horse, still in its harness, among all the casualties. I do not expect - nor do I want anyone to - prioritise a horse over the dozens of human casualties. But I could just not help breaking into tears - having taught myself to just somehow NOT, ALL THE TIME, over all the gruesome, cruel shit I see all day, every day!)

Im sorry to hear this. It's incredibly triggering and traumatising seeing this murder of vulnerable and obvious war crimes. It must be overwhelming for you who have been through it.
I would advise a news blackout for yourself for at least a few days. Otherwise, this could really make you ill.
We all feel disgusted and helpless. Protecting yourself from getting ill over this won't stop you caring, but I think from reading your post, you need some self-protection right now. Im so sorry for how triggering this must be and what you went through.

Weddingpuzzle · 03/11/2023 17:07

Are you for real? There is enough horror being documented - there are bits of bodies strewn on the road, children with their skulls missing, videos of traumatised children in hospitals, drone footage of mass graves, craters in the ground, men searching through rubble screaming for their children, dead horses, videos of people throwing stones being shot, aerial shots of entire areas flattened, live pictures of bombing and on and on and on. If it was safe enough that they were needing false flag actors why on earth have the BBC News, Sky, CNN etc not got journalists in Gaza? Are you really disbelieving the UN, Doctors Without Borders, Amnesty, the Red Cross, huge media outlets.

Is the horror not enough for you?

They don't. Its not real/propaganda

Xenia · 03/11/2023 17:08

People die in war. Hamas invaded Israel - this is what happens. If Hamas had left Israel alone this would not be happening. If people invaded the UK and slit the throats of our babies we would be heaping mayhem and death upon them left right and centre.

Israel-Hamas war live: Shifa hospital entrance, ambulances struck in Gaza

I saw this article yesterday. Israel apparently warning Gaza City hospitals to evacuate - presumably most of Gaza City is in the firing line now ground forces are moving in.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/2/are-israels-attacks-on-gazas-hospitals-legal

Are Israel’s attacks on Gaza’s hospitals legal?

Israeli warplanes are circling in on Gaza’s crowded hospitals, which have been issued with orders to evacuate

If Israel had not seized territory by force and brutalised the Palestinians for decades, October 7th would not have happened.

Please just stop
You might think you are helping the Israeli cause but your comment does them more harm than good

It's all in plain sight, documented and reported by reputable sources ...being played out before the world and yet no one stopping it.
I dont even think the word horror can truly describe it, I don't know what could.

Surplus2requirements · 03/11/2023 17:13

@HeidiInTheBigCity thank you. I certainly won't be searching for images. I also have had treatment for ptsd and the sanitised words on major news outlets are triggering enough.

NotTerfNorCis · 03/11/2023 17:13

I've seen the 'Hamas crisis actor '. A bit of a weirdo. Loves attention. There's enough real horror without him making shit up. It's just a gift to the Israelis.

Narcfamilies · 03/11/2023 17:14

That video is probably the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s horrific. Majority of the people in it are dead or severely injured and then there are posters bickering about it saying the man in it is an actor - even if he is which i doubt just LOOK at all the other people - they are NOT acting

OhHelloTheres · 03/11/2023 17:16

FOJN · 03/11/2023 16:37

Why would your thoughts be with those injured?

According to you they might have been Hamas fighters hitching a lift in an ambulance.

If they were Hamas fighters I couldn't give a fuck about them but we both know they were not.

The excuses for Israel's actions get more demented by the day.

Because as I said, I assume it was an accident. In which case my thoughts are with those injured.

queenofarles · 03/11/2023 17:16

Xenia
so according to you a terror act on Palestine should never be treated with the same outrage as a terror act on Israel?

Give it a rest you two. People are being killed in their thousands and you are desperately scratching round to prove a point about an actor thats already been debunked by many.

The fact you see fit to focus obsessively on this rather than expressing disbelief about the horrors is utterly unbelievable.

Surplus2requirements · 03/11/2023 17:17

Sky News has verified the attack on the ambulance convoy but not the cause yet.
