Hi ladies, finally at an actual laptop not stupid phone!!
Loving the diet talk. Personally I am very to Atkins as don't get how you're allowed to eat so much fat! I think I mentioned before the Montignac diet it is brilliant and my Mum is sooo slim on it! It's gradual weight loss but sustainable unlike crash diets. I plan to incorporate some of it into my diet soon to shed some of this baby flab but like Neeko can't go too crazy cos of bfing.
It is based on the GI scale so you can actually have some carbs. It's all to do with what you eat them with. It's also no sugar allowed at all but you can have fruit sugars, and chocolate that is more than 70% cocoa solids as a snack which is actually really good for you. I know you're only supposed to eat fruit on an empty stomach with this diet, as then it gets digested immediately and doesn't sit on a full stomach turning into alcohol. I'm gonna get some more of the principles from my Mum & I'll list them along with meal ideas
I'm happy to go on the list too but don't actually own scales!! So would have to weigh in whenever I go to my Mum's Definitely got at least a stone to lose to get back into pre-preg clothes though.
Vjay dh and I really love baking too so makes it very hard for us to diet! We are lucky to both be naturally slim but now I've had a baby I feel like a right frump next to him!! We currently have chocolate cookies, custard tarts, a carrot cake and muffins in the house all baked in last couple of days
barbie LOL to dried on baby rice on boobs Jude has suddenly become very dribbly so dh and I are constantly walking around with wet patches on our clothes now!
curly are you stopping feeding cos curlygirl is hitting 6 months? I thought I would only do it for 6 months but enjoying it so much at the moment will have to see how I feel!
blue and neeko of your meetup! Have fun!
4ever love your songs idea for Summer. Sweet Child of Mine was playing on our way to hospital to have J; that was quite apt
I too miss moon & think of her a lot...please do post again when you're ready lady
Jude has managed to find his thumb finally after weeks of trying and now settles himself to sleep sucking it- so adorable! I was a thumbsucker myself til I was about 12 (and still occasionally now ) so happy to let him do it as for some reason I really don't want to give him a dummy.
Sure there was loads else I wanted to say... I'll be back.
Go iggy!
