MummyLovesSadie · 24/07/2010 13:35

Oh loving the diet talk! Atkins is great but v difficult. Once I have this baby I'm really going to cut back on bread, pasta, rice potatoes & all things carbo-liscious!

This is the buggy we are getting.

Right will be back later.

VJay · 24/07/2010 14:25

mls that buggy looks fab and yes the diet is going to be hard, but it's only for 12 days, well for me anyway

Thanks again barbie

AAAArrrgghhh I'm failing already, I need my carb energy, I have 2 boys to run after and I'm getting ratty!!! I've not even done 12 hours yet!
Hows about I cut back instead, and go for a gradual weight loss? mermaid where are you I need you. I'm so crap at this.I even went out and bought mini baby bells cos that what mrbarbie snacked on. The two times I've followed a diet plan it was weight watchers and it worked really well, maybe I should just do that.
blue didn't you not eat bread during the week, just at weekends?

OP posts:
VJay · 24/07/2010 19:24

I want a glass of wine!

OP posts:
MummyLovesSadie · 24/07/2010 19:35

Vjay have 2 glasses of wine & forget the spuds! Actually no, have a vodka instead as it's not fattening. Seriously, if you cut the carbs tonight, by tomorrow you'll have so much more willpower.

mermaidspurse · 24/07/2010 19:36

hic I have just cracked open a bottle, eaten a pizza and some nachos. I am just crap vjay totally crap but I did go to the gym so needed to replace some energy.

How about we do a drastic cut back and do some excersise instead?

oh bread at weekends thats a good idea and its the weekend.ok we can start on Monday promise.x

VJay · 24/07/2010 19:44

Oh thankyou my lovelies, I knew you'd be there to see my mad rambles.
mermaid lets cut back and exercise, good plan. I still have no car, so I will start doing more walking. I will have my new potaotes tomorrow with my roast chicken, just not as many Shall we have a weekly weigh-in still? Keep us motivated?

barbie huge thanks for your excellent diet advice today

Wondering how Iggy is doing. Hopefully she is holding baby Iggs in her arm as we speak.

Monkey reading your post has made me feel . You have had it so rough recently, things have to start looking up for you very soon. I totally understand your need to step back from the thread but I hope you don't.

Talking of stepping back Moon I can feel you lurking, come back at once!

Barbie I'd definitely say it's time to put the cot down a level.

QA it's good to have you back again.

Gtg, dinner is ready will try & pop back later.

VJay · 24/07/2010 19:53

mls I have been thinking of moon too lately, especially with that wedding thread.

iggy hope all is well with you too

mermaid I had been losing weight it was slow but it was going, but I have put a few pounds on, hence my drastic decisions this morning. I have been thinking what could've happened, and I have to admit I did eat a pot of Haagan daaz last week and a ben and jerrys this week, so that won't have helped

OP posts:
mermaidspurse · 24/07/2010 20:10

yeah but the thing is vjay I find if I say no to myself I just binge. Inside I am still the woman who struggled to be 8 stone and who could eat anything[green]. It's as though our bodies suddenly change at um a certain age plus I moved from a 3 story house to a bungalow which surely didn't help.

So hold wall firmly(especially if you have had a glass of wine) stick leg out at an angle and then pulse, ouch, the slower and smaller the movements the better. slightly bend supporting knee and clench those buttocks.
Toning and shaping. lunges are good too. Monday we are going on a no bread and other stuff diet.

Then we can do planks tomorrow.

VJay · 24/07/2010 20:13

mermaid you make me chuckle and I agree bungalows don't help!

Planks

Right dinner eaten (2" steak with onion rings & peas - yes no potatoes!), you should both try Graze boxes. I've been having them for a few weeks now & they are absolutely delicious. They cost £2.99 & they are delivered with your normal post on any day you choose. They are filled with yummy & healthy fruits, nuts & crackers.

Here is a voucher where you can have your first box free - MC77NPW & you are under no obligation to order any more than the first one & you can cancel your order at any time.

VJay · 24/07/2010 20:26

I've seen those before I think gracie did a link once, they look yummy . I am going to dig out my ww stuff tomorrow.

I've just re-read your post mls I thought you had 2 steaks

OP posts:
MummyLovesSadie · 24/07/2010 20:28

I could actually have managed 2 I think!

VJay · 24/07/2010 20:31
