As I said to annie Saara's bedtime got delayed a bit today because I was so excited and happy and she was looking at me quite strangely when I was jumping around Thanks annie for keeping me updated

I have been lurking since Saturday but not had a chance to post. We went to Regents park on Saturday and the seaside (Saara's first time!) on Sunday, she loved the sand!

On the down side, DH's gran is in hospital and I'll find out if I have a job to go back to (due to restructuring) in July. They merging 3 directorates into 1. I thought I would be protected seeing as I am maternity leave but you never know.

cupcake Really feel for you hun. I was only 3 days overdue before my contractions started and I was going crazy before then! Really hope it happens soon!

Sorry for more lack of personals. Will be back on Friday for more. Going out for dinner (Thai) tomorrow with some work friends so can stress talk about the work situation. And there'll be no surprise kids turning up at this dinner

Saara's crawling EVERYWHERE, and is also teething so is quite whinghy (sp?) poor love and is waking up in the night due to the pain. She also somehow managed to climb out the the cot (I have no idea how she did that!) and get onto the bed [bad mother emoticon ] We've dropped the base of the cot to stop any more surprises

QA having a mc totally messes with your cycle. After I had dd my af became really long, nearly two weeks sometimes but as soon as I'd had the first mc it went down to a few days. The only way I had of pinpointing ov was when I started temping. I recorded all the info on Fertility Friend - if you like a list & you thrive on stats you would love Fertility Friend! It takes your data & tells you each month when you are likely to ov & after ov you input your daily pregnancy symptoms & it gives you a percentage of how likely you are to be pregnant, totally addictive!

Cupcake now it's a bit cooler maybe you could do some walking today?

qa fingers crossed for you this month. I think the key thing is to just keep doing the do . though I had no idea that fertility friend gave you stats on likelihood of being pregnant. That would have had me hooked

Forgot to say yesterday - thanks iggy for reasurance about the fretting! You're totally right I do need to just stay calm as being tense/worried just won't help anything will it. (or encourage this baby to come out?!) Dh was v good last night and reassured me his parents wouldn't impose (they're not actually staying with us which is a really good thing) and said he would stand firm about friends not visiting straight away!

MLS I am going to try a bit of walking today but my feet are still so painful need baby to come so swelling goes down! Catch 22 I can't even fit into most of my shoes actually
The sweepstake is encouraging me though in the fact that you ladies believe I will actually go into labour & not be induced I so desperately don't want to be induced.

Curly we ate spicy food again last night AND even dtd...I was so sure it would happen last night I brought all the hospital stuff downstairs - case, birth ball, carseat, pillow...and nothing. Hmph.

Poor cupcake it does feel like a long time at this stage, like you I really didn't want to be induced, i just managed to avoid it by going in to labour the day before I was due to go in

My advice is to hold off on booking in for being induced for as long as you feel comfortable and also think about your due date, do you think it is right? At my first scan they put my due date forward and in the end I was much closer to my original due date

MLS thanks for that. This is only my 2nd proper cycle after the MC as I bled for so long, so will probably get a better idea if anything has changed at the end of this cycle. last cycle was 1 day shorter than before the MC si it may be that this cycle is another day shorter again. Know I will be hooked too curly if I start charting because I do like stats and lists, but wil try and be patient and just keep 'doing the do' as you put it

Sadly my due date is definitely spot on as I know exactly when I ovulated (another charting freak here) I lied adjusted my LMP date by a few days to the doc because I'm a late ovulator. Scan only put me one day out from that... so it's definitely just a case of shy baby! I've just had words with it and told it how desperate everyone is to see it. My Mum and sis have even made me put the phone to my tummy so they can tell it

Finish with a quick 'me' post just to say I have finally weaned my bonny boy off my boob and onto the Tommee Tippee bottle . It has been the week from hell on all fronts with milk running dry through dehydtration and me just having had enough of breast feeding.

Anyway, Ben and me had a showdown on Tuesday and I won - he caved at 5pm and scoffed 7oz of Aptamil and can't get enough of it now. Has gone from being up 3 times to up once from 7pm to 7am, so I am finally getting some shut eye. Dh is loving being able to help out and other than a few during the night hiccups and taking longer to go back down, I am just relieved its happened.

Boobs are still agony but not as sore as yesterday and hopefully will be fine, (with still maybe a touch of cleavage) for my b'day night out on Sat.

Yes breast is best but so is a happy mummy!

Be back later for better catch up but cupcake - so nearly very nearly there... Start doing lunges round your living room OK?

cupcake don't worry - I am not planning on beating you - haven't even started maternity leave yet - re: feet swelling - i have a little book called top tips for girls and there is a section on pregnancy which has a tip for getting rid of swelling/ water retention - I found the relevant tip online too here

Not sure if you got juniper oil lying around the house tho

just a little post to update you on jd he is 11 weeks old now !!!
he is doing really well little chunky at over 12lbs. he sleeps for over 5 hours a night thanks to hunrgy baby SMA.

i wanted to ask some advice im still bleeding i thought it was Af but that was 3 weeks ago. sorry about me post just need advice
