arrggghhhh my mn page has gone weird

OMG!!!!!!!! DD just put herself to sleep!!! no rocking, crying, pacing, shh/patting, hand holding, sling-walking, or 10 mile hike in a pram (yes I've checked she's alive!). I was about to go out shopping but she's fast asleep in her chair, it seems a shame to spoil it by waking her now!

Curly - clubbing?????? I don't think I can remember the last time I went clubbing! god I'm old!

VJay I too am another one who thinks you're fab You always know what to say, and are so supportive to everyone on here, as well as being a wonderful mum. Your boys are lucky to have you. I think all of us doubt ourselves at times, it's only natural. Keep telling yourself that we all think you are wonderful and lovely, and hopefully it'll sink in

Thanks so much for all the fashion advice ladies, I have ordered both dresses (first to placate dh who doesn't like the second) but I really love the second one. Have been looking for shoes (LOVE the ones you found MLS) and am also going to go for a bangle/s (thanks Barbie) and a flower (fab idea Moon - how/where do I put it in? ) so will search for that later. Am back in the UK this weekend so having everything delivered to dad's and will bring it back. By the way, it's a day time wedding - that dress will be okay won't it? Not too eveningy?

Must dash as loads to do, but will keep popping back to check for news!

Sorry Vjay I agree with the others, I've always viewed you as a wonderful person, who manages her busy life really well, yet keeps in touch with us on her almost everyday despite being the first to get their baby.

Cupcake sweep today - I hope it gets things swiftly moving - can you walk home from the sweep? That often gets things going so don't go on your own.

Surely no woman would be allowed to labour for 5 days without some kind of intervention??

mls when i had my epidural and drip they would only let me labour for max of 12 hours because it puts too much stress on both mother and baby...4ever i way over that now, is she not?

It's been far too long, just hope all is okay...

Has anyone noticed that vj hasnt been back? i bet she is at the printers printing of all the lovely things we have written about her, and then she will decorate her walls with it all! then she can show her dickhead dh how popular she is! Come back vj i dont like being at the back of the class on my own....

gg well done! Im sure dd is getting better too thanks to my mum. We now always put her in her moses to sleep and at first it took 30 mins of shh/ patting but now we can do it in five. We just leave her in there and sit next to her and pat her. We have worked out she needs to be put down to sleep max 2 hours from when she last wakes, so much easier!

curly is curlygirl getting any better, isnt it just divine when they 'talk'.... lol at breast stealing! Barbiegirl pulls at what ever i use to cover her, many a time my boob has been exposed to bemused onlookers.....
