So - any news yet?
I've just spent the last 30 mins catching up - you ladies are so chatty , you would think that new arrivals are afoot!
Thank you for all the lovely messages - they mean such a lot.
BabyBelle finally has a name - after a few days of thought. We love your suggestions and have thought about most of them - we already have a Jenny, Jocelyn and Jessica in the family , so that limited us a bit. Also, when we met her, we didn't like the more flowerly names - Jocasta/ Jocinta or Juliet. My fave was Jesme but when you add it to our surname, it becomes too close to Jezabell ( sorry, Mermaid or MLS!)
So, we even tried voting but at the end of the day the dc's had the final choice and she is now Joanna Emily.
And very lovely she is too - the spitting image of her sister at the same age. Normally very chilled with very loud hicups.
Loads of hair and has already found her thumb. DH adores her as does the rest of the family.
You were all right as well, as an elective section, we had to be in for 8am but didn't go to theatre untill after 12. Which was odd as on the post section ward, I was the only section done that day [hmmm]
But in the end it didn't matter as she's here and lovely.
I will try and add photos to my profile and also get back with more personals later in the week
Thanks for all the section tips - they have been great and you are right, barbie, it really wasn't that bad, although I tried a bit of light pruning in the garden today and thought I'd strained something!
Got to go - BabyJ is looking for food and as she has lost too much weight ( and they nearly kept us in for an extra night as she isn't pooing as much as she should be), I need to feed her as often as I can.
Has anyone else tried introducing formula in the first week and still managed to keep bfeeding? I really don't want to give up completly but need her to gain weight as the midwives were really quite worried about her and I have a history of not having enough milk?
Will be back tomorrow - if I resit texting 4ever in the meantime!
