monkey you put me to shame, i can just about put a slice of turkey into my bread roll! ...Although if i had the time im a pretty ok chef... BBQ's are my forte, after all its not authentic without everything tasting of charcoal!

mermaid tis very nice to have my mum her, she is stronger than me and wont allow Devon to play up. Last night she got her to sleep in her moses without her having to suck my boobies for an hour...my boobies were loving it! Then again this morning she got her down for her nap in only 10 mins....so following her lead i have just spent 21 mins shh/ patting her in her moses and left the room while she was half asleep and voila she is now sleeping. Im patting myself on the back as i type!

oh and monkey in answer to the suncream question....it stays white for a long while and slowly fades into the skin, the doctors recommend that i reapply when i can no longer see it. Although at the moment we are holed up in the villa/ shopping malls to wait out the summer. 4 months and counting!

Sorry girls but sadly I am still here & definitely not contracting! keep thinking it's the night every time I go to sleep but apparently not...
Dh suggested bbq yesterday so we invited friends over & set about making loads of summery food, half hoping once we'd messed up the kitchen baby would come but no... lovely bbq though!
Enjoying the heat but have horribly swollen feet which isn't fun

I can't stop thinking about 4ever too & was awake half the night wondering how she was getting on...sounds like it won't be too long

Hi barbie...lol, my friends & sisters keep telling me their stomachs flipflop whenever I text them at the moment cos they think it will be news...maybe I should just hide in a hole until baby appears!
Got an appointment on Tuesday which I was hoping not to make it to haven't had a sweep yet but she said she might do one then.

Also forgot to add earlier, monkey yes we have been trying the sex route!! In fact I think we've done it more in the last week than the previous 8 months nothing's budging this one. (Although friend has suggested I try, ahem, ingesting these magic spermies as it is far more effective ...maybe if I get desperate next week!! )

Neeko was late but she wasn't really. They said she was a week overdue but when she'd given birth they said she was actually a day early which tied up with her dates.

Cupcake No I've not had my 20 week scan yet. I have one tomorrow at the specialist unit at Kings College in London & another one on Friday at my local hospital.

No, didn't like to in case it is just an annoying disturbance mid-labour hope she's ok.

MLS hope tomorrow goes well. Dh's cousin's baby (the one born 3 weeks early, on my due date) is at Kings hospital now cos he had to have major surgery for a hole in his bowel bless.

Ok so 6 days is the overdue time to beat? (Vjay I'm not counting your 18 days can't imagine having to wait that long!!)

I remember trying to text one friend when I was in labour & I never did finish the message. I was trying to write something like "It fooking hurts" & every time I tried I had a contraction & then the gas & air was making my head spin (in a fantastic way!) so it just didn't get done!

4ever was getting strong contractions but they slowed down again and she thinks it will be tomorrow - mind you that was hours ago so you never know [hopeful emotion]
She sounds fine though, very stoic.
