Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Afternoon all, finally back from hols and trying to catch up with all that's being happening and making sure all my commuting friends are alright. All present and correct I'm please to say. It feels like ages since I've been on here for any length of time, but this time I can really join in. I've finished my first AF since the m/c and am now Bding and counting the days till I can test!! I thought about trying an ov predictor kit, but I'm sure just making DH perform as much as poss will do the job Hello to all those I don't know. I'll add my details to the other thread and catch up on who everyone is.

Diddle · 11/07/2005 18:34

welcome back strike, hope you had a nice holiday. Good to hear you're back on the wagon with us. great fun all thid bd, best excersire we can get too

Hellkat - have just read the whole of that thread, how terrible, very confusing as well. at leats he's ok, although his marriage may not be now

OP posts:
Xena · 11/07/2005 18:58

HK I made a comment on that thread too, before WW read it, saying that I would be angry if I was the guys wife.
My boobs ache?? AF is not due untill next week so it must just be the heat?

Diddle · 11/07/2005 19:04

or a baby? is there a chance?

OP posts:
Xena · 11/07/2005 19:09

I don't think so as we were avoiding it the only time it could have been was last thursday only 4 days ago, so it would be to soon wouldn't it to get symptoms?

Diddle · 11/07/2005 19:16

who knows, i alwasy imagine symptoms, i did last month then AF arrived. must be the heat, sorry didn't mean to get your hopes up.
How would you feel if you were?? terrified??

OP posts:
Xena · 11/07/2005 19:18

Yes I would be terrified, I don't think i'm imagining them as they are bothering me, I was thinking was there something up after the m/c. Like do I still have some of the hormones?

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 11/07/2005 19:23

Today has been a horrible day. I could not go outside
as the lady next door was sat in the garden with her
newborn and I could hear him cooing and gurgling. I
nipped out to hang the washing but ran inside as soon
as i could.
Then i went to pick Lucy up from Nursery and a mum who
was due the same time as me came to pick her son up
with the baby who she had just left hosptal with.I saw
them and had a panic attack. One of the staff said "Look
Jane have you seen Liams new baby brother?" and she
then remembered and you could see she wanted to cut the
tounge from her mouth.I just muttered "Cant stop" and
she passed me Lucys things with tears in her eyes. I
drove home singing to Lucy so she would not sense
anything but felt dead inside. The due date is coming up
in the next two weeks and I guess thats it. We are TTC
but I had hyperemesis with both Lucy and Philippa until
the 5th month and today I felt a bit sicky cos of the
heat and i guess I just realised that when I do get
pregnant I have got all that to face again.

Sorry for moaning. Just feel v low.

Xena · 11/07/2005 19:25

Oh Chocolatepeanut i'm so sorry for your pain xxxx

What is hyperemesis?

Diddle · 11/07/2005 19:28

ohh Chocolate Peanut - you poor thing, sometimes it just feels like its all around you doesn't it. babies everywhere. Heres to tomorrow being much better. It will happen again soon, ours times will come.

Xena - how long ago was the m/c quite a while isn't it? i wouldn't think the hormones will be still in your body, if they are then you would get a BFP, have you tested since the m/c and got a bfn??

OP posts:
Xena · 11/07/2005 19:29

Nearly 2 months, I haven't tested no as I had the ERPC.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 11/07/2005 19:48

Hyperemesis is a severe form of morning sickness that is 24/7 and ends up with you in hosp on a drip

maddyd · 11/07/2005 20:05

Chocolatepeanut. Sorry your having such a tough time of it. It will prob get worse before it gets better, especially as the due date gets near. Can you and your hubby and Lucy do something special that day, a day out somewhere just so your not able to sit at home and think too much about it. I know it is never from your mind but it may help to keep busy. Or have someone take care of Lucy and spend the day at Phillipas memorial and just grieve and cry as hard as you can woulld also be a good release of it all. Its hard to put into words but im sure you know what i mean by saying that could help too.

HumphreysCorner · 11/07/2005 21:34

Evening girlies

How are we all this fine evening?

Had a lurvely day yesterday at Snetterton HellKat and it was boiling. Watched my hero John Reynolds get a 3rd & 4th-excellent progress considering he has been out of action all season due to injury. I even painted all my nails blue to match the team colours .

Petunia-when was your MC-I'm sure it was at a similar time to mine (30th May ) and I am still waiting for my AF but haven't waited before trying again . I have since read that if you don't wait for at least one AF the chances of another MC are quite high which is what happened to Diddle. I do so hope it won't happen again. You and I are having a bit of a competition as to who gets their AF first . Having period pains at the moment so fingers crossed (again)!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT-aw hun, must have been really hard for you but your time will come. ((xx)) Going to see my friend next week who will only have 3 weeks to go and my other friend has just 10. Really hoped I would be PG by 9th August when she is due but sadly it was not to be. I will be brave when I give them a cuddle.

Did another stick test girls and no line tonight-Yay!!! (whispers-I think the wine has diluted the result). So, have ordered 5 more tests off Ebay. I have seen some strange ones on there with a dropper??? Ooh, don't think I could cope with that.

Think I'll have a quick go on my Diner Dash game while I wait for DH to come home. Bike club night-only thing is that when he has watched the racing he goes into an imaginary racing world on the road. Keep telling him that traffic is coming towards him on the road not like on the track! Bah!

Wishing everyone sweet dreams and lots of hugs and that there babydust stuff.((xx))

xx

LunarSea · 11/07/2005 22:54

HC - the ones with a dropper (cassette type ones) are better than the cheapo sticks IMO as it actually shows you where to look for both lines. I'm always a a bit paranoid with the cheapy ones if I only get one line as I can't tell where the other one is supposed to be so I don't know whether it's the contriol line or the result line I'm seeing IYSWIM.

CD19, and DPO7 for me today. Which is ok on both counts, as I get plenty of cycles less than 19 days, and/or cycles where I ovulate about between days 8 and 10 - so with it being day 12 this time, and no signs yet that AF is imminent then at least we might have a chance this month.

HellKat · 12/07/2005 08:08

Morning all.
How is everyone? Well I hope after yesterdays' heatwave.
Welcome back strike!

Diddle · 12/07/2005 08:13

Morning everyone.
Lovely day here in the west mids, sun is beating down already, aparently it will get upto 30 degrees this afternoon. I can see i will be spending my day plastering the kids in cream.

Humphreyscorner - I have read conflicting info about conceiving straight after a m/c. one book said it increased your chances of having another by a few percent, then the other books said it would have no effect. I know lots of people who conceived straight after their m/c and had a successful pregnancy, so don't worry if you do become pregnant.

Xena - HK had "stuff" left behind from d&c so there is alwasy the chance that you have, but you could be pg, i'd do a test if i were you.

OP posts:
HellKat · 12/07/2005 08:31

Wosh it was here Diddle. Cloudy and drizzly!
Ohhh good point. Xena you should do a test, because even if it is "stuff", it'll still give you a bfp (albeit faint).

HellKat · 12/07/2005 08:56

*wish good grief!

spub · 12/07/2005 08:58

Morning all from a very hot and sunny Scotland (and it's not often you get to say that!)
At my desk in work with a fan on full blast and feeling like having a kip!
Hope you are all hanging in there, that AF comes/goes as wished for and that the BDing is going well!
HC - I was also told that getting pregnant straight after m/c was not a problem in the medical sense but was problematic for dating reasons only.
I had 5 weeks of blood tests as my HcG levels didn't come back down properlyafter my m/c at end of May start of June, no sign of AF either which was disappointing as I want to get pregnant NOW!!!! Saw an acupuncturist a week ago on Monday and came on on Weds! Lots of BDing next weekend. Am seeing the acupuncturist for a few weeks as he says they can help with conception and pregnancy. Figure it can't hurt! I think some of you may have tried it? (or was that another thread?? - too hot. Lost the plot).

Chocolatepeanut - (((((hugs))))). I feel really sad for you and so hope that you are able to get what you need to see you through this.

madrush · 12/07/2005 09:03

Morning all, haven't been on for a while and my goodness you've been chatting a-plenty for me to catch up on. Be patient and wait for testing Diddle, I'm trying to (but have 5 ready just in case!). I know all about those invented symptoms, I manage the sore breasts/tiredness/need to wee a lot every month (including now) and even the nausea sometimes ... and then AF arrives. My DH thinks I'm crazy too, probably quite rightly. At least we're all the same, makes me feel better knowing that!

HellKat · 12/07/2005 09:26

{{{{Hugs}}}} for CP! Sorry I missed you earlier.

Diddle · 12/07/2005 10:36

chocolate peanut - how are you feeling today??

I couldn't hang on for testing, i have no ptience, plus DH wanted me to do one, so i have and got a BFN. got 5 more tests ready though. I tested 3 days before AF was due with the first pg and got a Neg then tested again the day i was due and got a Pos. So there is still hope. Don't really feel like AF is coming, and i normally would by now, but i am quite prepared for this all to be my imagination. We'll see, will try to wait until Friday now, hoenst (grin)
Got my shorts and T-shirt on, and flip flops at the ready, its far too hot to be outside for too long, esp with the kids.

Hope everyone is having a good day
