September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Congrats Kawaiiko!

Don't know where I'm up to with cycle - usually OV on day 17 which is Sunday but since chemical pg last month I don't know when it'll happen now in case my cycle has changed. Got something like an early version of EWCM yesterday and today so possibly still on track...

SugarMagrundy · 18/12/2009 20:39

Thanks for adding me to the bus, LucyBrad.

Congrats Kawaiiko! - fingers crossed for you.

D'oh, did another first response this morning and got a bfn . Think the last one must have been faulty (it was very faint)

Bit worried about what's going on now - I only started paying attention to my cycles recently so although I think my UCL is 30 they might be less regular than I thought . Have have a few grumbles but af is nowhere to be seen.

Is it possible to make your af late by being too keen?!

This might turn out to be a lot more difficult than I had hoped

LittlewhiskersCat · 19/12/2009 20:52

Kawaiiko, sorry to hear that. I'm sure lots swear by FR HPTs however FWIW I have personally have found them most likely to react last (LR?? )

I have always found Clearblue either digital or ordinary, to be pretty reliable, as are Tescos own, both showing faint +ve days before due date (and took longest to fade after my chemical pg, it was pointless testing and a waste of money but you know how it is...) Anyway, FR went back to -ve pretty much straight away whereas the others were still detecting the hormone. Maybe worth trying a different brand.

Maybe you OV'd later this cycle? Good luck anyway

Redbug · 19/12/2009 21:52

Sorry to hear that Kawaiiko. Stress can delay AF (for me, anyway), so possibly that's delaying things.

FWIW I was a big fan of the clear blue digital tests I used last time. Not cheap, but that stopped me being tempted into POAS too early, and the pregnant/not pregnant written there clearly made it much easier to decide whether I was seeing things.

Have actually managed to SWI (shag with intent - a lovely term coined by another MNer, and much less twee than BDing, I have decided) a couple of times, and think I have ov'd now (apologies for TMI, but normally get major EWCM, not so much this month)

sparklyrainbow · 19/12/2009 22:20

After lurking on the August bus for a few days the witch has arrived so I'm going to join this one if that is okay?

TTC#1, cycle 2 UCL 30, CD1

NancyDrewRocks · 20/12/2009 04:13

kawaiiko sorry to hear that. Test in a couple of days if AF hasn't arrived (I know, I know sooooooooooo much easier said than done!)

Ovulation can be delayed by stress (thereby delaying your period) BUT once you have ovulated AF cannot be delayed unless of course you are pregnant. Does that help?

So I POAS this morning and at first thought very clear -ve but after 4/5 mins I reckon there was a v. faint +ve. A really-really-could-quite-possibly-be-imagining-it-shadow faint.

I showed DH who was inclined to agree that there was a very faint line but helpfully told me not to get excited and wait two days. Arghhhhhhhhhhh.

I've never had so much stress over testing before!

pointsmakeprizes · 20/12/2009 10:24

Hi Ladies

I tried to stay away from the whole ttc this month but I just can't keep away, especially after hearing that two friends are pregnant again on first month trying. I need to get a seat on this bus and some lovely support.

Here are my stats

Pointsmakeprizes TTC 2 Cycle 5 UCL 30 - 36 CD 14

if someone could add me on I would be extremely grateful!

Nancy great news - hope you will get a stronger line tomorrow.
kawaiiko - keep the faith, you may get a +ve again tomorrow, I'm sure the companies make it difficult to read the lines just to make us buy more of their tests.

Hi all, did a Clear Blue this morning and definitely a BFN - and still no af .

Much longer than this and I shall miss this bus altogether!

Sorry to be so negative - I've really appreciated your lovely messages and concern, pointsmakeprizes, NancyDrewRocks, Redbug and LittlewhiskersCat

Right, come on af, I want to get started again! I got some agnus castus today to help even out my cycles, hopefully should help.

drkgpink · 20/12/2009 21:15

kawaikko hope you either get a BFP soon or AF so you know where you are, preferably the former!!

I have no idea where I am AF 6th december 2 days after implanon removal, definately ovulated 11th and now AF again.

guess my stats have changed back to CD 3 today. may still make it on september bus, who knows!!

welcoome to all newcomers.

have now decided to drink as definately not on 2ww now.

pointsmakeprizes · 20/12/2009 21:43

Asianbabe - many thanks. I've got a high on my CBFM so hoping that I will ovulate within the next couple of days. What about you - are you on 2ww yet? I was hit quite hard finding out about my friends pregnancies, was a bit down this weekend but this could be my lucky month too I guess!

NancyDrewRocks · 21/12/2009 05:34

Congrats NancyDrew!

Urgh, I am feeling sick as a dog today. Def not morning sickness (have only just ov'd!), more likely my dubious culinary skills...

Legallyblond both DP and I snuck out and bought tests early last time, then confessed to one another, so I had plenty to test with to confirm my pregnancy!
