Sat here waiting for dh to come home, since fri eve i have seen him only for about 15 mins. last night when he came home from doha, i was so tired and it was so late i muttered that i loved him and climbed into bed then this morning he left at 6am to go on a work job and is about 20 mins away so that means it will be nearly 9.30 when he gets home....im soooo tired again, struggling to stay awake to see him

Hello to everyone else, where are you all today??? mermaid are you still in the pub???

xx

barbie1 · 16/11/2009 17:12

iggy if you are any thing like me you wont feel like doing any form of excercise for 27 weeks for most of the pregnancy...some days getting out of bed was excercise in itself!

barbie1 · 16/11/2009 17:16

argggggghhhhhhh

sat drinking orange juice not paying attention....thought to myself ummmm there shouldnt be bits in this juice its smooth with no bits...looked down to see a plague of flies in my drink..tiny little ones but big enough for me to feel as i have swollowed some

anniebigpants · 16/11/2009 17:16

Iggy-Its hard to know what to do for the best. Maybe as Barbie says, wait until you have some scans under your belt. its going to be harder for you with having your own horse as well, have you got people who can exercise him/her for you?

4ever-Relax hun, you've got this far and nothing has shown up to give any indication of potential problems re nuchal fold, tomorrow is just a formality, another thing to tick off. Ive got good vibes about your scan tomorrow, im looking forward to you coming on here (or even sending me a sneaky text if you have time )and letting us know everything is great. Hairstrokes and big hugs for you. XX

anniebigpants · 16/11/2009 17:19

x-posted with barbie- ugghh feel sick!

VJay · 16/11/2009 17:22

barbie yuk again, poor you drinking flies, I'm gagging again, please be more careful hun I can't take much more of this

4ever sending tons of positve vibes your way. What time is your scan tomorrow?

4everhopeful · 16/11/2009 17:42

Thanks vjay barbie & annie ur all v sweet.. Just gonna get an early night to make tomorrow come sooner.. Scan is 10.30 so can just get up & go.. X

iggypiggy · 16/11/2009 17:45

Will be thinking of you tomorrow 4ever xx

mermaidspurse · 16/11/2009 19:58

yuk yuk yuk barbie yuk. and a tree. I think that maybe dh should employ a sort of minder for you
and I don't reckon any woman is too pregnant to see Brandon

My walk? Its taken me this long to dry out actually and have a rather attractive cough but it was a good giggle and a good cause so I don't mind and not one pub did I stop in girls!

iggy a hard one as annoying women I know horsey ladies all tend to carry on till birth don't they with a devil may care attitude. I guess if its excersise your body is used to which it is then it is probably ok but after a mc and feeling like you do I think that maybe it won't hurt to wrap yourself in cotton wool for a wee while. Develop a sudden hay allergy?

4ever nuchal fold day - gulp. Yep thats a bit of a biggy and I am going to borrow some of the sand which iggy is hogging and join everyone there until you let us all know that your lo is fine. No words are going to reduce your terror I know, its so hard when things are out of our control.
Thinking of you and just hang on.xx

neekos cd sounds good too. Especially if it gets anyone cooking at 8 on a sunday morning!

annie lovely to hear you getting all ready and spick and span

love to everyone, glad you had a great time cupcake hi to lovely jools vjay hope ds is feeling a bit better and that ajay doesn't tcatch it too.xx

Neeko · 16/11/2009 20:16

Evening all.
Parents afternoon done and dusted One down, four to go before mat leave.

4ever sending you loyts of positive vibes for tomorrow. Hope that after then you'll be able to relax a bit. You're in a bit of a catch 22 cos you need to be at home to keep your bean safe but being at home means you have a bit too much time on your own to panic think. It WILL get easier.

Iggy my instinct would be to stop riding just now if you can. Once you get to 12 weeks you can re-evaluate.

Annie What have you cleaned today?
If you run out of options, you're welcome to my house for more.

barbie Hope you managed to stay awake til DH came home.

Off to put my feet up

Vjay Can't believe how big Ajay is. Hope your pfb is feeling better.

Neeko · 16/11/2009 20:24

Evening Mermaid Well done on the swim walk

BlueMoon1981 · 16/11/2009 20:24

just a quick one to offer my hand to 4ever for squeezing tomorrow, really really keeping every part of my body crossed for you

barbie i just love your antics, there must never be a dull moment in your house!

anyone heard from curly recently? hope she is ok

sorry to be boring and keep on counting but cd 36 and no sign scared to buy more pg tests in case i jinx it....

Neeko · 16/11/2009 20:30

Moon Nothing you can do will jinx it. Be brave and buy a test . We'll hold your hand.

littlebellsmum · 16/11/2009 20:40

Moon - walk away from the tests untill you have so many symptoms it can't be anything else. The sand is nice and warm and it makes the rest of the time fly! I can't believe that I will have my 16 week appt in just over 3 weeks!!! See time flys ( currently 13 weeks ( not that I'm counting or anything!)

4ever it will be fine - repeat the words, everything will be fine. You've never got this far before and so, this time is different. Thats why you don't know the people upstairs but they will know you through your notes. This time it will be fine.

barbie boak. How do you manage to survive? Life in your world is som much fun! BTW I have drunk flies myself before though - years ago, visiting a family in Romania, drinking their disgusting home brew that when I looked down was full of flies but I couldn't let the ancient great aunt know that I wouldn't drink it ..... Barf city!
Your baby is going to have so much fun and I can't wait to hear your feeding and nappy stories!

Love to everyone else

cupcakefairy · 16/11/2009 20:47

Oh Moon don't apologise- none of us are bored of hearing of a no-show af, we love it!! So so hoping this is your month lovely. I think Curly is just super busy with work... hopefully he'll drop in soon.

Iggy I think you have to trust your instincts. I just think with all this 'advice' that is out there like what not to eat/do while pregnant, us girls who have been unfortunate enough to miscarry should probably be following it all to the letter so we have absolutely nothing to blame should it happen again.. otherwise we'd only torture ourselves that it was our fault somehow. It's only 2 months until you'd hit 12 weeks, is that aaaages in horse-lover time?
So glad your dh is excited by the way

Neeko well done you on finishing the first parents afternoon! cookie for you. Thanks for the update on MLS, gutted for her though hope she eats loads of Italian pasta to cheer herself up- YUM.

Mermaid I love that everyone agrees on my Brandon Flowers love he'd so make my top 5 list! (Friends fans)

4ever my lovely fellow medium-panter.. I'm not moving into that big pants list without you so you'd better believe everything is going to be fine! So wish there was something we could do to make you feel better hun but I know your stomach will just be knotting like crazy tomorrow. Please please breeeeeathe lovely, the best thing you can do for your lo is to try and relax.

Right, nearly I'm a Celebrity time

cupcakefairy · 16/11/2009 20:52

didn't mean to call Curly a 'he'! This laptop tends to miss out letters when I type too quickly!

4everhopeful · 16/11/2009 22:15

Just wanna thank u lovelies for all your supportive messages, it does actually help cos one of hardest bits is feelin no one quite undertands so thank u again, especially to mermaid & neeko for your tx.. I should be asleep, dh is but just lurked on pho after im a celeb.. Oh & have to sadly say to lbm that have actually got to 13wk before & had nuchal scan in that dept when poss edwards or downs was diagnosed which is whole reason im such a state now.. That was last yr & seen by director of dept so really hoping we get to see him this time, just holds alot of bad memories.. Anyway must try & sleep, in 12hrs will be driving to hosp! Thanks again lovely ladies, will tx asap x x x x x

iggypiggy · 17/11/2009 09:13

4ever you must be so nervous - we are all holding your hand and thinking of you xx

moon so hope that you just tested too early - when you think you might poas again if still no af?

Thanks for thoughts on riding - basically my instinct says to stop, but obviously that comes with it's own difficulties - ie. telling the woman that looks after him!

Anyway - am feeling bit miserable anyway as am in theory 5 weeks today - but feel like have no symptoms - so have convinced myself that it is A BAD SIGN and that will def mc..

you lot will know what I mean

anniebigpants · 17/11/2009 09:33

Aww Iggy-the first few weeks pregnancy post mc are truly awful. If you were pregnant for the first time, you probably wouldnt be concerned in the slightest that you had no symptoms at 5 weeks, most symptoms dont kick in till the 7 week mark. Its when weve had a mc we analyse every symptom and lack of them. Try and borrow some of LBM sand to b ury your head in and try and ignore symptoms or lack of them. Deep breaths and we will get you through this.XX

iggypiggy · 17/11/2009 09:39

I am also comparing it to last time - and I'm sure I had more symptoms by now

Thanks annie I will get back in the sand....

Sabs1981 · 17/11/2009 09:52

Just quickly posting to say I'm thinking of you today 4ever

Hope everyone is well.

Saara had her 6 week check-up and BCG injection yesterday - she was very brave! I took my sister along for support which really helped. I also had to have a jab mmr, as my rubella showed up as really low

Be back soon

mermaidspurse · 17/11/2009 10:02

iggy I am going to send you an entire truck load of beach and you can spend your time making zen patterns in the sand and very slowly the days will trickle.
reckon you should wander round to 4evers epu for a little scan maybe? Not cos there is anything wrong but to put your heart and mind at rest - symptom spotting is the pits lovely lady and you need to be as nicely relaxed and positive about it all as you possibly can be - so dodge that MIL and goxx.

moon still have everything corssed for you.

gasp yes curly I mislaid you in my head please let us know you are ok and still not being too sick.x

4ever will be strutting her stuff shortly so everyone concentrate hard on positive thoughts

ugg why isn'y it friday?

VJay · 17/11/2009 10:04

4ever been thinking of you all morning and will continue to do so sending lovely positive thoughts your way
