curly thank you why did they never find them, stamping flipping flippers. Mine is a bit smaller than those mentioned 12x10x9mm. Thats a bit scary about the mc stats and why they sent me for a thorough scan about 6 months ago.

I am quite freaked actually about everything and think I may go and find some christmas chocolate. Not helped by the fact I just read that fibroid sufferers should eat leafy green veg. oh joy. I'm 41 need to dye my hair out of neccesity and not fun and look like a botticelli angel after a particualy bad session with added wrinkles.

Oh mermaid am so sorry they couldn't tell you something more definate. This weekend isn't half going to drag for you. It's good what they said about the last lady having had a sucessful birth though, and good news that your hcg levels have gone up. I really hope that there is more good news on Monday...

lovelymermaid what a horrible day for you - but once again there is some hope and I think I'll cling to that for you.

Two of my friends have been diagnosed with fibroids in the last 6 months - both had surgery and both recovered well.

Hope you get some good chocolate and i will be thinking of you loads all weekend xx

Totally inappropriate but your comment about slapping your mum with a wet fish made me splutter my lunch over the keyboard . It's good to see that Mermaidwiththefightingspirit is in there still.

Continuing my praying for Mermaid over the weekend - whilst I'm sanding walls in the utility room.

Can I ask everyone's opinion on this please. I did 2 different opk's today. One was a cheapie from Ebay that I always use & a couple of hours I did a 1st Response that the lovely Sabs sent to me.

The cheapie was a very definite positive & the 1st Response was a negative. Which should I trust?

(BTW no matter what you say I'm going to try & tie dh to the bed tonight anyway!)

I think one must be more sensative. Thats a bugger you asre going to go and do another one now aren't you?

I would be tempted to say go with the one you always use, you know your body mls
If it is really a negative at least you are practising and giving dh a good dusting down and getting rid of any tired swimmers.

Im sorry you didnt get a definate answer, but im going to remain positive for you over the weekend...and for the records my bloods didnt double the first set i had, it was only at about 7 weeks they were in line with the guidelines, and then i had a scan too...still clinging on to the 'its too early theory'
No idea about fibriods or anything so cant help you there im afriad...

Ive been in bed all afternoon with a horrid migrane...parcetomol isnt touching it, although the sleep has cleared most of it. Called the midwife who told me to be v careful as migrane is also the same symtoms as pre eclampsia, if my symtoms re-start of dont shift within 24-48 i have to go to hospital to be checked over....

.....there is hope, there is always hope. You're emotions must be all over the place but I am so praying its all just kicking into place and just too early to tell. Remember you have a short cycle which might be sqooiffing the dates. Will be thinking of you ALL weekend and praying, praying like a banshee.

Firstly Mermaid what an incredible headf** for you but as my DH said well maybe all our prayers mean that a christmas miracle is happening for you & I do have high hopes as def so much better than what they said yesterday isnt it? Sorry took me so long to come back on here, apt was actually quick, only waited about 45mins & think got bumped up list as was stressing really wanted to see my consultant not his team of registrars & he was off to a meeting so hey presto, not a long wait at all really. Bit worrying that a trace of protein found in my urine & they are sending it off for tests for infection.. Cons reckons not to worry, we heard hb again, & he reckons we really should relax as chances of going wrong are very slim now, great to hear, but easier said than done! Im to ween off the cyclogest now too, bit worrying that all my safety blankets of that, not working & weekly scans will be no more soon but I guess I must be brave..! Will keep the weekly scans til 21wk scan on 26th Jan & see ante natal/cons again that same week... Sorry for making any of you worry! Went to garage to try & fix car window after but couldnt fit me in, then picked mum up & brought her to our house, she is downstairs watching alan titchmarsh & I dashed upstairs to post to you!!! Its been a lovely chatty supportive wonderful thread these last few days & have shed many a tear at all your posts to our lovely Mermaid!!! MLS Im so glad to see you back & in battlestations mode & DD better
