Can't get geared up either as I stil think I'm not due until 25th as didn't ov until 3rd April etc. Meeting consultant tomorrow again but am going to refuse sweep if they offer it next Wed. as that would so heighten chances of having xmas baby which is lovely but not if it means missing DS's xmas morning. I'm just bursitng with excitement though, waiting to see this longed for lo

sorry for not posting the last few days, me and dp had a huge fight, a whole weekend of not talking and i really thought it was all over. but sorted everything out yesterday, had a whole evening of talking and getting our heads staight, and i feel finally comfortable with myself.

also today have been very brave. went to buy baby clothes for my friend who gave birth last week, and have arranged to go and see her on Thurs

Morning girls.. well we have heard our bean, s/he is definitely in there! It took my Mum's friend aaaages to find the hb and she is a super experienced mw so it was a tad worrying but we heard kicks and it was mainly cos my heartbeat was way too loud she couldn't find it Eventually we heard both hbs together..baby's a galloping and mine in background, was v special she said baby was right at the back with placenta in front so v elusive. So I think I won't bother getting a doppler if it took her that long; I'd just panic!
My sisters were over too so it was quite a lovely moment...they are both such excited aunts-to-be.

Iggy well done resolving to wait til 12 weeks. 12 weeks was my first scan and it was agony waiting but worth it to know we'd got there hope it flies by for you and glad you're feeling ok. Btw last night was our first time hearing hb- midwife didn't offer to do it at 16wk appointment

Blue I have a feeling we could be in for a long wait yet if there are no twinges! Feet up lovely lady! It'll be Friends-quotes galore from me if you go much overdue.. "Just think of me as a ketchup bottle, sometimes you have to bang on the end to get it to come out!"

I'm on leave today and it has made me realise just how stressed I've been at work. Haven't even got out of bed yet . X post Curly! Im v pleased to hear ur resting in bed today! Thats why i asked when ur mat leave starts cos im sure not working would alleviate the sickness u poor soul! Enjoy chillin out today & dont get out of bed til at least 2pm! Im dreading goin back to work in jan new manager, new team/job & new database to be trained on.. One thing was lookin forward to is (hopefully!) bein able to announce my preg after never bein able too with the last 4.. Anyway i got a tx from my ex manager (same edd one whos on mat leave) congratlating me the other day she heard from another girl iv not told! Im hoping my new manager isnt blabbing, which would be outrageous, so im gonna pho a few collegues that i have actually told & do some digging, ill be outraged if iv been robbed of my right to tell my news, specially as i was robbed of sharing it the previous 4 times!

If i could give any advice it would be to take at least 4-weeks off before your EDD as you will never again get this time to yourself, to rest, examine your naval, potter, the whole last glimpses of 'me' time.

Saw my consultant this morning and she is happy to let me go until at least 30th without inducing/sweeping etc. She totally understands how much I want to try for VBAC and is very supportive of me at least trying. And yes 4ever I just want to avoid Xmas day but then we wanted to avoid 6/6/6 with DS and guess when he was born - yup 6/6/6!

Listening to my i-tunes - 'A Spaceman came Travelling' just started, always makes me well up .
