Just popping on to say that BabyNeeko has been kicking like a champion since before I opened my eyes this morning! Something to score off the worry list and the to-do list!

vjay scan is at 9.30 so out the way nice and early.

Thanks for all the hand holding had been sort of mellow but today I am a quiver with worry.

Worrying's normal and at least it passes the time. Plan something nice (and non-smell related)to do this weekend

Got in a state yest tryin to do too much, i went to next, whsmiths, m&s, & sainsburys to meet dh, then dash to bf ds birthday, then pop to mums to say bye to sis as shes back to worcs til boxing day, got fish & chips on way home, was yuk, dh & i sat down about 9pm, i was done in & stressed had done too much as used to my bedrest & could feel pains & twinges, might of been trapped wind & feel ok now but as per usual, roll on mondays scan!

babyneekobigkicks, see they can come up trumps when a little reassurance is required for their Mummy's . My lo doesn't start kicking until late morning which worries me every day until I get the first kick but at the same time leaves me hopeful they will be good sleeper

Mermaid - looks like i'll be rubbing your cankles on Monday as your hands are all taken . Going off everything smell wise is such a good sign especially if its bacon butties as they are surely the best smell in the world . I used to love sniffing my facial wash, very pine tree and 'fresh'.

4ever I used the doppler everytime I was worried about not feeling Ajay kick. I found the heartbeat everytime and found it very reassuring . I would say I used it a lot to begin with but as the pg progressed and Ajay kicked more and more I used it less. You are very welcome to have it if you want it, it was the best thing I bought because it kept me very reassured

Dh just home from work (yay!) Told him about the doppler & cos consultant was against the idea for fear of causing more anxiety, (?!? ) Dh initially not enthusiastic but read your post to him Vjay & he seems more into the idea now.. My consultant is a very cautious by the book non endorsing kind of guy, good as he is.. We see him on thurs, will mention again.. I kno after my stress yest, id love to have it today, thats what brought Dh round, bless him he just doesnt want me worrying but knows this would hopefuly ease anxiety not cause more....

4ever I have the box, instructions and gel etc. I don't want anything for it, just want you to benefit from it like I did. When you've finished with it you could pass it onto mermaid or someone

4ever my dh was exactly the same, he didn't want me to get one incase I couldn't find the hb and would worry even more, but in the end I got it and was fine. It's up to you and I totally understand if you don't want it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi ladies, just had quick catch up as got wriggly baby in one hand, hes just been fed but little gannet is still hungry as busy sucking my cheek .
i promise will start posting more soon, but along with VJay i too have a doppler-an Angelsounds one , which i would like to go too a good home to one of the lovely ladies on here. It is really easy to use, and i could hear the heartbeat at 12 weeks, and my tummy was well padded.

annie mine was an Angelsounds too. Was going to tell 4ever that I didn't get mine until about 18 weeks so didn't hear the hb til then, but you heard yours at 12 weeks and she's past that already so should be ok

Hello girls, I am still alive
Been a very busy week but also been having a huge bit of a wobble since midwife appointment on Thurs. Turns out it was a different mw to the one I'd met before and another more senior one there too. Neither of them introduced themselves or told me why it was them instead of my normal mw until I asked. They didn't have my blood results back or any proof of my existence, told me off for not bringing fmu with me even though I wasn't told to, and didn't listen for the heartbeat I took an afternoon off work just to have my blood pressure measured and they didn't even ask how I was feeling. Was too annoyed and upset then to bring up any of my emotional concerns and just spent the next 3 hours at home crying my eyes out
Dh came home from work to find me in a sobbing mess in bed...
Thankfully my Mum's bf who is a senior mw in Cardiff phoned me later that night & was outraged on my behalf at my time being wasted. She's going to come over next week so dh and I can both hear hb which is really nice but I still feel so about how I've been treated so far in this pregnancy.

Anyway, enough mememe, sorry
