Hi all. Just a quick post. My DH's grandpa passed away last night . Not entirely unexpected but no less painful. I'll be lurking this week but won't post much due to family commitments. Thinking of you all and hoping for baby and scan news to make me smile. Take care all.

Neeko so sorry about your sad news that is horrible. But amazing your dh got to feel baby...I told my dh that and he straight away put his hand on my tummy and said 'I want to too!' (I'm sure I felt two tiny flutters at the weekend by the way..but my Mum says it's too early, pah.)

LBM Wow, I love your dd's name it is lovely... I forgot to mention Jude by the way...another name I love for a boy but dh hates.

Blue hope your dinner with dh was lovely- you made me well up a bit with your declaration of love. I totally feel the same about my dh he has been so sweet and accomodating about everything & I would be a quivering wreck without him.. hooray for Emmsy dh/dps

I've probably already said this on here but recently I keep looking at the pics we took on NYE last year...we were away at a cottage in mid-Wales with our best friends and had fireworks and glasses of bucks fizz outside and I just look so happy and carefree in the pics. That girl had no idea 2009 was going to be a horrible dark year. So this year I'll be going into the new year with a lot of apprehension and let's hope it turns out to be a brilliant one for all of us. (Sorry that was a bit speech-y wasn't it! I'm going to go eat a refrigerated Mars bar now a la Blue.)

Still no news from buddha i think she is still in the hospital, ill keep checking fb as im sure her dh will update as soon as anything happens, ill keep you posted!

jools poor dp, i hope he is better now, what a bummer of a time for you to go away i have everything crossed that you ovulate late and will be having a fab start to 2010, which also goes for baking as well. Sounds like things are a little clearer for you since your appt. I hope you manage to put it all behind you and see the new year in with a bang

bluemoon i cried tears of frustration for you, having had a cycle that went on for 100 plus days i know what a head f**k it can be....its almost a relief when af arrive because at least you have some kind of outcome. Fingers crossed that like the other girlies on here, you have had a long cycle and will fall in the next one

annie ive been looking to see if you were on fb chat but it seems quiet your end are you in hospital yet??? have you instructed dh to update here or on fb? I hve told my dh all my passwords so he will come on here and update as soon as anything happens to me ignore him if he tries to flirt or is crude....ha ha

neeko poor dh, hope he is bearing up...im sure you will be coming to good news on the thread, take it easy this week...oh and pregnancy brain is getting worse, i left the iron on over night and all day ...

vjay thanks for the comment re scan, what do you think it is???? im getting impatient to know now! I have watched the video about 10 times, and im sure i can see something between the legs, but on googling 4d scan pics all babys have a bulge most people think it looks pretty so its a girl but they have only seen the one pic as they arent as privaledged as you girls hope babyvjay is being a good boy for mummy. Quick question, do you put him in a cot at night or moses basket???? im going to be a hopeless mummy, i really have no idea

barbie I put Ajay in a moses basket, and he's still in it now. I don't think he'll be in it for much longer though as he's quite big As for the sex of your baba I wouldn't like to say as you're the mystic one around here . When we had our 2D scan with Ajay the lady scanned between his legs and we saw eveything very clearly.
As for you saying that you hope mermaid is under a bridge, I thought you were calling here a troll

Now I will be refreshing for news from blue 4ever buddha and annie, inbetween feeding and getting the tea ready etc...

Still no news ??

I've been training since 9am - just sat down to let the second trainer take over for the rest of the day - absolutely shattered !! Am ovulating now - just checked and I'd got my CD's wrong - CD15 today, so another clockwork cycle - quite a painful ov though and I've bloated up like a balloon.

Feel so much better since talking to the GP, even though nothing has been done yet

Oh, DP is fine today - better than fine in fact as he is far less stressed and a nicer person after a seizure - kind of like blowing a fuse and releasing lots of pressure Hopefully that will bode well for TTC

Barbie your poor MIL That sounds horrific. Where are your scan pics ? I wanna play guess the flavour !

Neeko - honey, didn't know your news before I txtd you earlier. So sorry to hear about your DH's Grandpa's passing . I'm sure you will be a great support for him this week. My EDD is the 11 year anniversary of my Gran's passing and my Mum is bittersweet about it...

Talking of which mine went really well to the point that my pregnancy is now deemed 'normal' again and I have a rescheduled consultant appointment next week (from the one that was abandoned on 28th Oct) to discuss my birthing options - yay! I may get my natural VBAC after all... My pg is being allowed to 'run its course' barring any emergenices of course. What a relief after four weeks of being on red alert with my hopsital bag packed... babyblue is weighing @ 7lbs too

Am on pho which dont allow spaces, also dont have ur no blue wanted to tx u to say yay on ur scan! neeko said it already but hugs to u & dh, & thanks 4 today, also thanks to cupcake & mermaid for ur tx today was wobbly as ever pre scan, took a min to find heartbeat cos they did a belly one, i prefer the tv scan cos seems clearer & belly one hurts a bit! anyway just so grateful all still ok with bubs im 13wk on fri so next mon scan the real big milestone as never got beyond that before! See cons at ante natal apt on thurs... Tomorrow my work hr ice queen & occ health are doin home visit so will let them know just how bloody traumatic last 2yrs have been after losing 4 babies & what anxiety ridden preg this therefore is hence need for bedrest & stress free time! Phew sorry for rant! Also have to say saw bits of barbies amazing vid just wonderful but kept sticking cos viewed via pho, we are def going for 4d too when hopefuly get that far! Glad u got ur scan too iggy hand holding at the ready! Did u get it at ur own hosp in the end? moon sorry ur body played tricks on u, i also thought of neekothestrange superlong pre preg cycle so heres hopin hon! Jools really pleased to hear about the counselling just makin pro active steps will def help, poor dh too, glad hes all recovered, what a worry! Lastly baking glad ur feelin positive too despite crap cons! Well im shattered hence this strange post with no spaces from my pho whilst layin on sofa! Dh doin lates, finish at 5pm then back for an hour from 7to 8pm, all a bit manic to get dinner etc! Only 1 wk a month tho & good for crimbo!
