Hi happy Blue cake, scones, candy?? You're making me hungry again (though it doesn't take much at the mo!!) I will just make myself a nice cuppa peppermint tea to see me through to lunch though.. seems to do the trick a bit with the throat-burn but will def be getting gaviscon if it continues.
Wooppee, faith freaks unite

I'm in a bit of a Friday mood too, I'm doing some writing, the sun is shining, and I'm seeing the actual sexiest vampire tonight Blue- Robert Pattinson (yes I am a thirteen year old girl)

How is everyone?

cupcakefairy · 20/11/2009 12:36

Ooh, yes meant to post some J names I like for LBM

Josiah (I love but dh disagrees!)
Joseph
Joshua
Jonah

Jocelyn
Joely
Janey

..ok I've run out...and I bet you already haveat least one of those boy names in your dh or ds ... there is another boy J name that's just my favourite ever but I think we might use it if we have a boy

Joolsiam · 20/11/2009 12:56

4Ever - I echo what Cupcake says - I love reading happy posts from you I will really feel like a cyber auntie when this LO arrives

Iggy - I'm still beating myself up about carrying large bags of compost to the car on a Sunday, getting cramps that afternoon and starting to miscarry on the Wed - its just not worth the worry it can cause, so agree with you on the horse-riding front.

Barbie - Was that your bump amongst the pics on FB this morning ?

Just flying by really - have been trying to stay away mostly. Had some very dark days but finally plucked up the courage to see a GP this morning and ask for some help before I lose all my friends, my job and destroy my relationship with DP - I am a soggy mess as a result, but am being referred for counselling and have to fill out a questionnaire to help them assess whether I am clinically depressed and to what degree - going back next week to talk things through further and may end up on meds I think - opens up a whole new world of worry and questions re TTC though ...

Annie - you know you now need to check in hourly and have live labour thread so we can all be "there" at the birth I'm glad things went as well as they could do this week.

Faith - it is strange - I thought I'd lost what little I had with the mc last year, but I still find it strangely comforting to be / grieve in the cathedral near home. Think I'm more of a humanist.

OK, must do some work - am thinking of you all, just find it hard to "talk" at the moment.

VJay · 20/11/2009 13:46

Hiya, hope none of you have been affected by these awful floods.

Didn't manage to get back on mn yesterday as Ajay was stuck on the boob most of the day and again today, he's just got off for a sleep, I think, and hope, it's his 12 week growth spurt

jools glad you've gone to the doctors for help, but so sorry you need it, but you are doing the right thing I'm sure. Do you feel a little bit better making that move? I hope so

4ever I echo what blue says, you are so strong lady, and yes the goose bumps came out again

Ajay is awake again!!!!!!!!!Gotta go xx

barbie1 · 20/11/2009 16:19

Phew what a week!!!! I realised how busy i have been when i went to make breakfast and realised the cooker was sparkling clean....means i havent used it since tues when the cleaner had been

I have been working late, wedding dress shopping with a friend, 30th birthday diamond ring shopping for me, 4d scanning...dubai golf championship and watching dh swim around the burj al arab......such a busy few days that ive been knackered! I have missed you all and thinking about you constantly!

Lots of happy news on here...wow for annie nearly ready to drop
for 4ever still so very happy for you for mrskate on a good scan and finding out the sex for jools for being a weeping mess but that you are addressing it and hopefully getting whatever help you need. We are here all the way for you honey.
cupcake at my constant use of "oh my god" on this thread
@ blue and mermaid who seem to be super organised and ready for christmas.....and for bluemoon at the strange body cycle you are having at the moment.
Big hugs to everyone else. I will do a more personal posting tomorrow once i have the computer to myself.....

I have been up since 6am this morning and on the beach for 7am to watch dh do the charity swim, i was so proud of him...and yes you can see my bump on fb, im looking shockingly bad, it was too early in the morning!!!

Just back from the golf, i might of been on the tv!......

Oh and dh has ordered me the same ring as my wedding ring to go the other side of my engagment ring so i can look like a wagfor my 30th birthday and the baby.....

The 4d scan was fab, didnt find out the sex although dh is sure he can see some 'balls' on the video i have posted pics on my profile if you wanna look...and we had uploaded the video to a popular viewing site. I can post a link to anyone interested? The baby was poking out its tongue...cheeky monkey!

Anyways im off to get more sleep, big hugs to you all x

MrsKate · 20/11/2009 16:22

hi all

thanks for the messages ive put my scan pic on fb but will put on here in a mo

cupcake i hope we dont have the same my little man is going to be called Jack David after dh grandad and stepdad that have passed away xxxx

cupcakefairy · 20/11/2009 17:44

It's not Jack Kate- but I actually wouldn't mind picking the same name as one of you girls...it's not like our kids are all gonna be in the same class is it!
...So I may aswell tell you the name is John/Johnny... simple but I adore it...plus it's my Grandpa's, FIL's and brother's name so lots of family connections. We're not totally sure we'd use it but we both love it

LOL Barbie that cracked me up you blushing over saying oh my god - as if!! I am really not one of those types! Oo I wanna see your bump, show us on here! Neeko and anyone else with a bump- you too please!

Hi jools so lovely to hear from you. Feel sad you were a wreck talking to the GP but so glad you're getting help. Thanks for popping in, am thinking of you lots.

Right, is it nearly time for dinner yet?

Neeko · 20/11/2009 21:15

Evening.

Jools I'm very proud of you for being so brave and seeking help. I know it might seem easier to hide and tell yourself you're ok so well done you for taking such a big step. I'm sure it'll make a difference and we're all here for you.

Barbie and MrsKate Lovely pics

Annie well done on surviving yesterday. Glad you felt so calm. Hope the baby doesn't keep you waiting too long.

4ever have to agree with everyone else that your post was so upbeat and lovely. Hope you're still grinning.

Vjay what a hungry boy you have but so nice that he's thriving

MLS Stop lurking and post!

I'm exhausted again so going to give in and go to bed. Love to all. Will post to rest later on this weekend.

P.S. Taking DD to see "We're going on a bear hunt" tomorrow and DH felt the baby kick today

littlebellsmum · 20/11/2009 23:14

Hi all
mrskate I can't believe that you have a name already. Took is 3 weeks after ds had been borm before we could agree!

Thaks for the help with the j names - I don't have any of the J boy names, but cupcake we do already have your no 1 girls name and very lovely it is too. However, it's pretty unusual, so you can imagine how I was when I discovered another one 2 years above her at school!

I like Jesme by DH hates it and also Jessie for a boy ( again, DH hates it)

So, if anyone else is up for a challenge and would like to help, any suggestions welcome!

Sorry - must fly, hope everyone is well and have lovely weekends...

bluesatinsash · 21/11/2009 11:15

Hi girls,

Hope the rain has subsided where you are! We got off quite lightly here considering we're in Scotland, birthplace of rain .

Jools - really pleased you are seekng help and not trying to muddle on on your own. The counselling will be so good, just being able to talk about yor mc's, your grief and worries about ttc again.

Neeko - I LOVE 'we're going on a bear hunt' especially the swooshy grass page . Lovely that your DH felt baby kick

Cupcake - love Jonny

LBM - Jacob for boy? Jeremy? I always likes 'Jem' too the son in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' Also Jasper?

barbiebusypants - hope you've got a quiet weekend lined up. I'm very at your ring but you deserve it lady

Its DH's b'day today and me and my Isabella Oliver dress are taking him out for dinner tonight . I was very gushy in his card but he has been a tower of strength for me during/after the mc's and very accomodating during the ttc on demand he deserves a big shout out! - I love you MrBlue

Barbie I'd love the link to see the video hun And a picture of the wag diamong ring Lucky you
Baking How did it go with the consultant?
Moon I am so sorry that your body is doing this to you, I am ever hopeful that a late BFP will show, but I'm sure you'd rather just know one way or another now. That limbo land is just awful
MrsKate A blue one had a peek at the lovely photo's too
Annie All sounds very exciting, any more updates for us? Glad you felt at peace yesterday, did think of you x
Blue Sounds like your having a chunky monkey like us then as s/he is measuring a week ahead Have all the sweets made you sick yet?
Neeko Hope you have the 13 weeks marked on the calendar, start crossing them off you will be surprised how quickly they do go Enjoy the bear hunt today, hope the weather is on your side
Iggy Hope you can still hear us with your head in the sand
4ever Is it starting to feel real yet? I think having all the scan dates helped me work towards the hurdles, bring on the 30th
Curly Big waves, hope you are feeling well(ish)
Cupcake Gaviscon will become your new best friend trust me
Jools Words cannot express how happy I am that you have sought some help and I don't mean that in a patronising way at all, I found counselling invaluable, I hope you do too. You are definately making the right steps towards a more positive and peaceful life after m/c. Who knows what that will bring, but at least you will be well prepared mentally as well as physically. I wish I could give you a big fat hug and a thousand hair strokes BTW there are threads on here about TTC on medication if that is any help x

Also waves to lbm MLS Sabs & Vjay
Hope I haven't missed anyone, forgive me if I have.
Still pottering around doing a little bit, sitting down, doing a bit more. Have a few more things booked to do next week, good job as DH is going away Sunday to Weds on a course for his new job. I've got a breastfeeding workshop for 3 hours involving knitted breasts could be interesting!
Enjoy your weekend girls xx

bakingqueen · 21/11/2009 12:46

Hello all things a bit clearer since appointment. Was not a pleasent experience saw a different consulant as usual one was off sick this one was not as nice. He was completly tactless when talking about mc and seemed not to know what he was talking about one minute saying dh needed to give a sample the next saying dh sample was normal!! Had to point out dh had given no sample so unless he was psychic how could he know it was normal. Upshot was to take a break until new year take metformin to help me lose some more weight and then restart clomid in new year. Kind of happy with this so lets see what 2010 brings for the rest of us small panters and commandos!!

Sorry for me me post. Going away tomorrow for a holiday so back next week love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BlueMoon1981 · 22/11/2009 12:30

hello ladies, i must apologise for not posting the last few days, i havent felt up to coming on here. but af turned up this morning, cd 42! so now at least i know and my head is much clearer, what a complete head f**k! think i have just had the worst week ever, and looking back it must have been pmt, which i have never had in my life before. i almost walked out at work, cried on my boss, cried on dp, and funnily enough today i feel fine even with the evil witch arriving. bloody hormones! thanks for everyones concern, you are all so lovely.

hope everyone else is ok, it was quiet on here yesterday....

barbie1 · 22/11/2009 14:04

Hi girls just some quick news buddha waters broke early this morning she is in hospital being monitored....no need for c section so they are preparing for a natural birth...in her own words she is 'shitting herself!" come on pushhhhhhh

Joolsiam · 22/11/2009 15:09

Oooh how exciting Buddha LO must be desperate to meet you - and knows that you have stuff planned for next week ! (boo to missing the workshop with the knitted breasts !)

I'm off to Wales for work in a couple of hours but will lurk via my ipod touch if I can get a connection - waiting anxiously for some good news from you AND Annie

Stressful day here as DP (who has epilepsy) had his first seizure in months this morning All dealt with and he has recovered well - I think it was brought on my him having a heavy cold so his defences are low. it always gets the adrenalin pumping though and leaves me weak and wobbly afterwards ...

I'm not home till Wed evening as I am running a 3 day training course, but will try to keep in touch

I hope all impending labours are swift and pain free

VJay · 22/11/2009 15:18

Oooh buddha push girl push. I'm so excited

Hiya jools glad your dp is ok now, must have been a huge shock and worry for you.

moon so sorry af has arrived, thought you were in this month, but atleast you are feeling better now, it is all down to the bloody hormones. You might get a nice Christmas bfp like I did last year, I'm going to wish that just for you

I've now got this bloody cold that ds1 and dh have had, just hope Ajay doesn't get it.

Keep pushing buddha

Joolsiam · 22/11/2009 15:33

Oh, and mission seduction failed for me this morning cos of DP being ill unless I ov late, that's me out of the running as it is CD12 today and I'm not back till CD15. Hmm - actually that might work if he is pleased to see me back .....

Thinking of you too Moon At least you know where you are now. You never know, perhaps something was happening but it didn't quite work out - could mean you are uber fertile for that Christmas BFP

Just downloading the last episode of Spooks that I missed so I can watch it on the train on my new toy. Off to pack - "see" you all later.

bluesatinsash · 22/11/2009 16:08

pom poms all a flutter - GO Buddha GO!!!!

Man this is too exciting

OP posts:
Neeko · 22/11/2009 17:21

I don't know. I disappear from MN for one day and Buddha tries to sneak her LO out!!! So excite for you. Hope you are right now cuddling your LO with all signs of SPD gone. That was some way to keep your DH at home!

Annie You've gone all quiet, Hope it's because your baby boy is on his way.

Blue tick tock, tock tock... Who's up next on the baby-making clock?

Moon relieved that you now know where you stand but wish it had been the opposite result. My BFP came the cycle after my Neekothestrage (as Cupcake dubbed it) ridiculously long cycle, so fingers crossed.

Jools that must have been a worry bout your DP. Glad all ok and hope the adrenelin delays ovulation by a day

Bakingqueen Glad you're feeling a little more settled. Enjoy a couple of cycles without the TTC pressure and the weightloss that the med will bring. I predict that in the New Year you'll put all the weight back on for the best of reasons.

Just wanted to say to all the smallpanters that I know the thread has been very baby baby recently. i hope it won't stop you from saying how you're feeling and allowing everyone to help you through. Sometimes just saying I feel crap made me feel better on dark days and I'd hate to think that anyone was put off from doing that. (Ramble over )

The Bear Hunt was fab yesterday and DH managed to walk the legs off us whilst he got his B'day present . Did some more Christmas shopping today so only 3 more presents to buy (Apart from DH's)and I'm waiting for Boots' next points event to get them. Hurrah - the end is in sight! Also checked on what we've got for DD. Think I'll have to hide my cards or we'll need to move to a bigger house Everything is just so buyable!

Hope everyone else is ok.

4everhopeful · 22/11/2009 19:54

Yay for buddha & imminent arrival of our 4th graduate! How very exciting! Will post properly tomorrow after scan, im wobbly as per usual! Will be lurking for news! X

anniebigpants · 22/11/2009 22:08

Go Buddha go!! Yeyy, so exciting

4ever-Will be thinking of you tomorrow at your scan, big hugs.

Neeko Glad you enjoyed the Bear Hunt, Its DS favourite story, i love it too, know it word for word! Well done for being almost complete on your Christmas shopping too.

Moon-Sorry AF got you, but at least you know where you are now and keeping everything crossed for next month for you.

VJay Hope your cold goes soon.

Jools-What a fright with your poor DP, hope he feeling better now.

BQ-Thinking of you hun, hope you ok.

Big waves to everyone else.

Yesterday morning woke up at 4am with desperate need to get to loo, had really bad diarrhea (sorry for TMI), when i got back into bed i started dozing then woke up with what i thought were stomach cramps, then realized they were contractions. I was up and down for the next 3 or so hours, couldnt get comfy, was restless etc. Had contractions all over the place which were mainly in my back, all day. By 6ish contractions were coming every 10 mins, stared timing them then and had 4 lots, was thinking of ringing hospital to see when they wanted me in, as i,ll need IV antibiotics as was Group B Strep positive last pregnancy, they started tailing off then, by 9pm stopped completely. To say i was gutted is and understatement, id been in mild to moderate pain for over 17 hours, for nothing. Today had a few BH, but nothing else. Im going to step up the RLT and start eating pineapple tomorrow, and call on the services of DH .

MummyLovesSadie · 23/11/2009 07:07

Just wanted to pop in to say thinking of you Buddha, hopefully the worst of it is over now & you are gazing at your new baby.

Annie same for you too, any more news?

anniebigpants · 23/11/2009 10:23

Hello MLS-how are you today my lovely?
No news from me today im afraid, still getting plenty of BH, and had a bit of a show when i went to the loo just now, so hopefully babs may decide to put in an appearance sometime in the next week or so. Im 39 weeks tomorrow.

Buddha-Hope things going well and youve got your baby in your arms now.

Thinking of you at your scan today 4ever

Im just off to lurk around MN, do some online Chrimbo shopping while bouncing on my ball and drinking RLT.Laters.

iggypiggy · 23/11/2009 10:51

jools lets hope you ov late this month. Must be such a worry when your DP is ill.

moon at least AF is finally here so you know where you are. Glad you felling better.

buddha so exciting!!

annie also getting v. excited for you!

MLS is nice to hear from you too - how are you?

4ever thinking of you for scan.

baking shame the consultant was not good - but new year, new start sounds good. is what i was planning on doing.

neeko I have never heard of the bear hunt - but sounds good!

cupcake hope you getting on ok? How is the writing?

mermaid I am enjoying the sand/ seashells - hope you not too cold by the sea

Also waves to vjay sabs lbm blue and everyone else!

bluesatinsash · 23/11/2009 11:41

oh Annie - keep bouncing on that ball . Must have been v. frustrating thinking things were getting going yesterday but maybe you're just slowly but surely dilating and by the time you get to hopsital you'll be nearing 10cm and baby will just pop out . I see the first of the December ladies has delivered - yay! I've been lurking there for a wee while but too supersticious to join...

Buddha - dying to hear how it all went, been thinking about you loads, one of thee original Emmsy's coming home to roost - fantastic!

4ever - still holding that hand of yours for today and every scan day xx

Moon - at least you now know where you are with your cycle. Take heart from Neeko's long one pre BFP...

Baking - new year = fresh start, keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Jools - your poor DP, that must have been scary . Hope CD15 does it for you this month.

MLS - howe are you? How was Italy? Did you and your DH have some golden time together once DD was asleep?

Neeko - was it your DH's b'day on Sat, same day as mine?!

I'm actually working from home this morning . There is just so much going on at work that I'm banking some hours here and there as finished up three weeks early etc. and still no babyblue. Got my weekly scan this afternoon and really hope - again - baby can stay puy until at least December but feel like I've been on red alert since 28th October and time is going so slowly. In alot of pain with SPD, piles and heartburn, little to no sleep, the whole nine yards BUT I am NOT complaining.

Also decided to have swine flu jag - getting it this Thursday. Read loads and loads on here (alot of it hysterical!) and had long discussion with midwife last week. Will also run it past consultant this afternoon but I'm sure he'll will say go for it too
